Hola Needleworkers! Como están? Sigo trabajando en mis wips, pero hoy pongo pausa para mostrarles y contarles un poco de un objeto tejido que es muy especial para mi. Y lo mejor es que se los puedo mostrar todo aunque no lo hice yo misma!

Hello Needleworkers! I'm still working on my wips, but today I pause to show and tell you a little bit about a knitted object that is very special to me. And the best thing is that I can show you the whole thing even though I didn't make it myself!

Mi casa está llena, por no decir que es plaga, todo tejido a crochet. Hace unos cuantos inviernos me fío de que mi madre es buena y hábil, y le pido algo especial. Bufanda, gorro, guantes, algo así, pero este invierno me atreví a más.

My house is full, not to say that it is plague, all crocheted. A few winters ago I trust that my mother is good and skillful,and I ask her for something special. Scarf, hat, gloves, something like that, but this winter I dared to more.

Si mal no recuerdo, era el año 2014 y muy rara vez le había pedido algo tan grande y de mi estilo, es decir, que no es lo más normal en ella tejer este estilo de cosas. Una noche decido mostrarle lo que había encontrado y preguntarle si sería muy difícil de lograr, cuanto necesitaría y esos detalles.

If I remember correctly, it was the year 2014 and very rarely I had asked her for something so big and in my style, I mean, it´s not the most normal thing for her to knit this style of things. One night I decide to show her what I had found and ask her if it would be very difficult to achieve, how much wool I would need and those details.

Pero el color violeta no era de mis preferidos, y en esa época disfrutaba mucho la combinación verde agua y negro, entonces me encomiendo en la búsqueda de la lana y el color, le pregunté la cantidad de cada color, ya teníamos todo bastante bien planeado.

No voy a mentirles, no recuerdo la cantidad de lana exacta, pero ni ella había hecho algo así, y a mi no me importaba mucho, asique compramos bastante de más (como 1kg de una y 800g de otra, aunque la manta en total pesa cerca de 1kg y 300gr)

Este invierno fue su turno de un service… ya que algunas costuras de uniones se habían saltado de tantos años…

All ready, it's time to lie down and cover up, it's winter in Argentina, in the whole southern hemisphere, and I'm going to enjoy reading it, it's a short book, with stories of Argentine Punk bands, and it's very entertaining. This is what I enjoy the most these days, being at home reading with a good cup of coffee (or mates in its most argentine variant)
