On many occasions that we have something to celebrate with family, or have a share, we want to wear something new, a new garment even if it is simple, perhaps not to go out in the picture with the same clothes hehe, my friend is very close with her family are always supporting each other in good times and not so good. These days she celebrated her birthday, but something very simple without much protocol, her cake, soft drinks and some pastries, the important thing is that together with her daughter and her mom, they had a great time at her grandmother's house where another part of her family lives.
She had some very casual and sporty outfits made, something simple and easy to use, she also had a fall where she bent the thumb of her hand, so she already has about a month and they put a cast to immobilize her finger until she gets better and does her therapy.
So she had a flannel a little wide that is comfortable to wear and with her shorts, all in a green flannel fabric, she really liked this model, so I made it for her, here I show you how was the procedure of this garment.
Hola a todos, espero estén pasando un buen día. En muchas ocasiones que tenemos algo que celebrar en familia, o tener un compartir, queremos ponernos algo nuevo, una nueva prenda de vestir aunque sea sencillo, quizás para no salir en la foto con la misma ropa jeje, mi amiga es con su familia muy unida siempre están apoyándose en las buenas y no tan buenas. En estos día festejo su cumpleaños, pero algo muy sencillo sin mucho protocolo, su torta, refrescos y algo de páspalos, lo importante es que junto a su hija y su mamá, la pasaron muy bien en casa de la abuela donde vive otra parte de su familia.
Ella mandó hacer unos conjuntos muy casuales y deportivos, algo sencillo y fácil de usar, tambien tuvo una caida donde se doblo el dedo pulgar de su mano, por lo tanto ya tiene como un mes y le colocaron yeso para inmovilizar su dedo hasta que mejore y haga su terapia.
Por eso mandó hacer una franela un poco ancha que sea cómoda de ponerse y con su short, todo en una tela de franela unicolor verde, a ella le gustó mucho este modelo, así que se lo hice, aqui les muestro como fué el procedimiento de esta prenda de vestir.
My materials:
Flannel fabric 2meter.
Thread, needle, measuring tape, elastic, measuring pattern.
Sewing machine.

With the measurements of a size L I took the flannel front and back, this flannel will have an elastic at the waist, sleeves, and the bias that I will place at the neck.
I start by joining the shoulder part with straight and zig-zag stitching, then I sew the sleeves to be able to close the sides.
Then I sew the bias binding at the neck, this collar is a little more open or wide.
Finishing the flannel I place the elastic, folding the fabric and the desired width, so the flannel is ready.
Con las medidas de una talla L saqué la franela la parte delantera y de espalda, esta franela va tener una elastica a la altura de la cintura, sus mangas, y el sesgo que colocaré en el cuello.
Comienzo uniendo la parte de los hombros con costura recta y zig-zag, para ñuego coser las mangas y así poder cerrar de los lados.
Luego le coso el sesgo en la parte del cuello, este cuello es tipo hojal, es decir un poco más abierto o ancho.
Culminando la franela le coloco la elastica, doblando la tela y del ancho deseado, así quedó lista la franela.
I cut the whole front and back of the shorts, cut the pockets, which is the first thing I sew. As I had cut the whole shorts, I make a diagonal cut to place the pocket diagonally.
I join the part of the pocket where I made this diagonal cut, placing the fabric right sides together, placing the pocket on top, then I sew and turn it inside out and sew the overlock seam, closing the pocket on the inside. Then I join the front and back of the front and back of the back.
El short corte la parte delantera y trasera todo entero, corté los bolsillos, que es lo primero que coso. Como habia cortado el short entero, le hago un corte para colocar diagonal para el bolsillo.
Uno la parte del bolsillo donde hice este corte diagonal, colocando la tela derecho con derecho, colocando el bolsillo arriba, para luego coser y voltearlo, hacia la parte de adentro y pasar la sobre costura, cierro el bolsillo por dentro. Luego uno la parte del tiro tanto del frente y trasero.

I also made a seam allowance on the elastic part, so that the elastic does not bend and keeps its firmness. I finish by making the hem a centimeter wide.
Una vez teniendo ya cosido el short, le coloco la pretina, de 5cm de ancho, lo primero que hice fue en esta tira colocar la elastica y coserlo, para luego coserlo al short, como se muestra en la foto. Tambien le hice una sobre costura en la parte de la elastica, con el fin de que no se doble la elastica y mantega su firmeza. Culmino haciendole el ruedo de un centimetro de ancho.
This is a very casual, fresh and comfortable outfit, to go out for a walk as well, it is a very nice color, my friend liked it very much, so she enjoyed her day very much, together with her loved ones.
