MWM|| Venezuela is always in my heart

Feliz y bendecido NeedleWorkMonday queridos amigos, es una alegría estar compartiendo con ustedes uno nuevo Lunes creativo. Hoy vengo muy emocionada a compartir mi proyecto de hoy. Se trata de un proyecto que me solicitó una de mis hermanas. Ella me pidió que le hiciera un detalle que tuviera referencia a la bandera de Venezuela para obsequiarle a una de sus amigas quien pronto se va del país.

Happy and blessed NeedleWorkMonday dear friends, it is a joy to be sharing with you a new creative Monday. Today I am very excited to share my project today. It is a project that one of my sisters asked me to do. She asked me to make a detail with a reference to the Venezuelan flag to give to one of her friends who is leaving the country soon.

Después de buscar varias ideas en la web y no encontrar ninguna que me llamará la atención, se me ocurrió hacer un corazón con los colores de nuestra bandera. Este diseño me pareció el ideal, ya que todos los que emigramos a otro país llevamos a Venezuela en el corazón.

After looking for several ideas on the web and not finding any that caught my attention, I came up with the idea of making a heart with the colors of our flag. This design seemed to me the ideal one, since all of us who emigrated to another country carry Venezuela in our hearts.

Es la primera vez que tejo un corazón de varios colores y el desafío más grande fue calcular el tamaño de cada franja, sin embargo, el patrón es el mismo que para un corazón amigurumi normal. Para este proyecto utilice el hilo macramé de 2mm de grosor con una aguja de 1mm para que el tejido me quedará un poco más apretado de lo normal.

This is the first time I knit a multi-colored heart and the biggest challenge was to calculate the size of each stripe, however, the pattern is the same as for a normal amigurumi heart. For this project I used 2mm thick macramé yarn with a 1mm needle so that the weave will be a little tighter than normal.

La idea de este corazón es que tenga la función de llavero y que la amiga de mi hermana lo pueda llevar siempre con ella.

Debo decir que el resultado final de este proyecto me gustó mucho y creo que será el primero de muchos corazones tricolor que espero tejer para obsequiar a mis amistades que emigran del país.

The idea of this heart is that it has the function of a keychain and that my sister's friend can always carry it with her.
I must say that I really liked the final result of this project and I think it will be the first of many tricolor hearts that I hope to weave to give to my friends who emigrate from the country.
