Saludos querida comunidad, estaba pensando en seguir haciendo amigurumis con los restos de estambre que tenia en mi caja, pero luego de ver los colores que tenía, decidí hace un gorro en dos agujas para mi mamá @yole, les cuento que la razón por la cual tanto ella como yo solemos usar este tipo de gorros, es porque es la manera que encontramos más cómoda para protegernos el cabello cuando lo acabamos de planchar y también por las noches para dormir el cabello se mantiene bien y no se enreda, le damos como una vuelta dentro del gorro y esto evita que se formen nudos, también protege el cabello del frío y se evita el friz.
Greetings dear community, I was thinking of continuing to make amigurumis with the remains of yarn that I had in my box, but after seeing the colors I had, I decided to make a hat on two needles for my mom @yole, I will tell you that the reason why which both she and I usually use this type of hat, it is because it is the most comfortable way to protect our hair when we finish ironing it and also at night to sleep, the hair stays well and does not get tangled, we give it as a turn inside the hat and this prevents knots from forming, it also protects the hair from the cold and prevents frizz.
Mi mamá es muy cuidadosa con el cabello, rara vez lo tiene sin alisar con la plancha, así que ella se estaba quejando de que sus dos gorros están viejos y que necesitaba uno nuevo, entonces vi la oportunidad de complacerla, además algo que me causa mucha alegría cuando hago un gorro o cualquier otra cosa con agujas es que las personas lo utilicen, que el objeto no se quede guardado como un recuerdo, por eso cuando veo que mi mamá realmente hace uso de los gorros que le hago, eso me hace muy feliz.
My mom is very careful with her hair, she rarely has it without flat ironing it, so she was complaining that her two hats are old and that she needed a new one, so I saw the opportunity to please her, also something that causes me I am very happy when I make a hat or anything else with needles, it is that people use it, that the object is not kept as a memory, that's why when I see that my mother really makes use of the hats that I make for her, that makes me very happy.
Para este gorro usé dos agujas de #5, tres colores de estambre: 20 gramos de matizado, 20 gramos de blanco natural y 10 de rojo. Inicié montado 90 puntadas en la aguja más dos puntadas de orillo. Entonces comencé la secuencia de puntada elástica 1/1, es decir, una puntada al derecho y una puntada al reves, luego se tejen las puntadas como se presenten en las siguientes hileras, pasando sin tejer la primera puntada de orillo y la última puntada siempre haciéndola al derecho.
For this hat I used two #5 needles, three colors of yarn: 20 grams of shaded, 20 grams of natural white and 10 of red. I started assembled 90 stitches on the needle plus two edge stitches. So I started the 1/1 stretch stitch sequence, that is to say, a knit stitch and a purl stitch, then the stitches are knitted as they occur in the following rows, skipping the first edge stitch and the last stitch always doing it right.
Como las cantidades de cada color de estambre eran desiguales, decidí hacer la secuencia de colores de la siguiente forma: 4 hileras de color matizado, 4 hileras de blanco y 2 hileras de rojo. Seguí trabajando de manera recta hasta obtener 46 hileras.
Since the amounts of each yarn color were uneven, I decided to sequence the colors as follows: 4 rows of shaded color, 4 rows of white, and 2 rows of red. I continued working straight until I had 46 rows.
A partir de allí hice 6 disminuciones por hilera, estas se hacen haciendo dos puntos juntos al derecho entonces en la siguiente hilera se hacen dos puntos juntos al revés, como eran 90 puntadas la primera disminución la hice cada 14 puntadas, seguí la secuencia por 13 hileras hasta que quedaron solo 12 puntadas en la aguja. Luego tome el hilo y lo enhebré en la aguja de ojal grande para cerrar de forma circular y fruncida esos 12 puntadas finales más los 2 de orillo. Volví a enhebrar la aguja nuevamente para coser el lateral del gorro.
From there I made 6 decreases per row, these are made by knitting two stitches together, then in the next row two stitches are made purl together, since there were 90 stitches, the first decrease was made every 14 stitches, I followed the sequence for 13 rows until there are only 12 stitches left on the needle. Then I took the thread and threaded it on the large buttonhole needle to close in a circular and shirred fashion those final 12 stitches plus the 2 selvedge stitches. I rethreaded the needle again to sew the side of the hat.
Esta demás decir lo mucho que le gusta el gorro a mi mamá, aunque ella me había pedido un gorro no le dije que el que estaba haciendo era para ella, solo le dije al terminar que por favor modelara el gorro para una foto, su sorpresa fue linda cuando le dije que se quedara con el gorro, casi inmediatamente lo usó para proteger su cabello al tomar un ducha y luego irse a descansar en su cama en la noche. Mi mamá se ve muy linda con el gorro y eso me alegra.
I want to say how much my mom likes the hat, although she had asked me for a hat, I didn't tell her that the one I was making was for her, I just told her at the end that she please model the hat for a photo, her surprise was Cute when I told her to keep the hat, she almost immediately used it to protect her hair when taking a shower and then going to rest on her bed at night. My mom looks very pretty with the hat and that makes me happy.
