Hola gente bonita feliz #NeedleWorkMonday , el día de hoy me encuentro muy feliz porque me he sentido mejor y el día de ayer volví a tejer de nuevo, estos días con Covid han sido una tortura, porque me canso muy rápido haciendo cualquier cosa y temía que si me ponía tejer dejaría todo inconcluso y terminaría con mucho dolor de cabeza, porque todos los días después de bañarme me da una crisis de tos muy fuerte, mi amiga @yetsimar me dijo que para evitar la tos no me bañara ¿le hago caso? Jejeje .Pero ayer me sentí con energía y como mi amigo Carlos quien me encargó el amigurumi de David Bowie que compartí la semana pasada me hizo además de ese otro encargo, empezó a acosarme un poco por mensajes, es que él es muy ansioso así que deseaba saber cuándo comenzaría a realizar el nuevo proyecto.

But yesterday I felt energetic and like my friend Carlos who ordered me the David Bowie amigurumi that I shared last week made me in addition to that other order, he started harassing me a bit for messages, he is very anxious so he wanted to know when the new project would start.
El no lo hace de mala manera, solo que es una persona muy alegre y le entusiasma mucho al idea de tener los amigurumis que desea a su lado, así que decidí comenzar ayer, justo cuando estaba buscando mis hilos decidí ver Hive por un momento y me encontré con al publicación inspiradora @marblely quien administra la comunidad quien nos anima a compartir nuestras historias con los proyectos de una forma más personal, aplicando el método de las cinco preguntas ¿Qué?¿Cómo? ¿Cuándo? Donde? ¿Por qué? entonces me animé mucho más a empezar a tejer porque así tendría algo para compartir el día de hoy, porque este proyecto se está gestando hace muchos días, en la cabeza de mi cliente, en mi cabeza y en mi bandeja de entrada donde no dejan de llegar mensajes de su parte acosándome un poco por el proyecto.

Como les contaba anteriormente mi amigo y cliente es artista, ambos sentimos mucha admiración por muchos artistas de las décadas de los 80 sobre todo, cuando me encargó el amigurumi anterior también me dijo “quiero una Nina Hagen cuando termines este”, él sabe la profunda admiración que siento por esta cantante y él también la ha dibujado y muchas veces. Entre nuestras constantes conversaciones sobre el proyecto de tejer a Nina Hagen, la pregunta constante era cual de los múltiples atuendos icónicos de Nina Hagen usaría como referencia para hacer el amigurumi, el terminaba casi todas las noches enviando muchas imágenes diferentes y me dejaba aun mas confundida sobre cual escoger.

Between our constant conversations about the project of knitting to Nina Hagen, the constant question was which of the many iconic outfits Nina Hagen would use as a reference to make the amigurumi, he ended up almost every night sending many different images and left me even more confused on which to choose.
Hasta que hace unas noches me envió unas fotos de Nina Hagen con un tutú rosado, me dijo “lo quiero de este modo” , yo le dije que estaba de acuerdo pero que debía esperar porque aun no podía comenzar a tejer. Tanto fue la emoción de mi amigo por decidir cual atuendo de Nina Hagen quería en su amigurumi, que hizo una ilustración y la subió a sus redes sociales, el tiene un estilo muy particular y colorido y siempre le pone su sello personal a sus dibujos, así que obviamente terminó siendo una obra muy original a pesar de haber usado referencias. Entonces puso mucha más presión sobre mí, porque ahora debo cumplir con sus expectativas y hacer que el amigurumi de Nina Hagen sea los más cercano posible al estilo que a el le gusta. A continuación le comparto algunas imágenes de referencia de ese atuendo en particular y también le comparto la ilustración hecha por mi amigo Carlos @majenye y un dibujo que yo hice de ella hace un tiempo.

So he put a lot more pressure on me, because now I have to live up to his expectations and make Nina Hagen's amigurumi as close as possible to the style he likes. El día de ayer, saqué mis hilos y me encontré con un panorama no muy bueno, pues tenía muy poco hilo fucsia, rosado y amarillo, colores muy necesarios para el amigurumi, como tengo covid no puedo salir a comprar hilos, así que me dije a misma que haría todo lo posible por hacerlo con esos hilos.
Yesterday, I took out my threads and I found a not very good outlook, because I had very little fuchsia, pink and yellow thread, colors very necessary for amigurumi, since I have covid I cannot go out to buy threads, so I said to myself to herself that she would do her best to do it with those threads.
El proceso fue largo, previamente le había comentado a mi amigo que si era muy importante que Nina se sostuviera de pie, porque si le hacia los zapatos muy puntiagudos esta no iba tener equilibrio, mi amigo me dio luz verde para hacerlo lo más parecido posible sin importar que el amigurumi se sostuviera de pie o no. Así que comencé como usualmente desde los pies a la cabeza. Lo que sucedió fue que pretendí proceder de manera similar al amigurumi de David Bowie, es decir, hacer los zapatos y a partir de allí tejer la pierna, pero me encontré con un proceso un poco difícil, porque los zapatos de Nina son abiertos, lo que quería decir que las medias de raya se verían por la parte superior, después de intentarlo varias veces, decidí que no me preocuparía tanto por ese detalle, era muy tarde y aun no podía terminar ni siquiera un zapato, así que recordé que hace un tiempo vi en instagram una chica que tejía muñecas amigurumis muy similares a las Barbies, a pesar de que admiré mucho su técnica no me gusta que los amigurumis parezcan tan reales, porque no parecen tejidos, es decir a mí me gustan que se noten que son tejido porque si quiero una muñeca de plástico compro una plástico, no tejo una, pero recordé que la chica tejía el cuerpo de sus muñecas con el pie en punta, es decir como las Barbies, así que se me ocurrió tejer el pie de esa forma, entonces podría continuar la pierna y luego haría los zapatos aparte.
De esta forma comencé mi tejido con hilo negro y ganchillo #4 (1,25mm), lo comencé en negro porque cuando intenté hacerlo de dos colores aplicando la técnica de los aumentos y las disminuciones para crear el empeine en punta el resultado no me agradó, así que decidí hacer el pie con hilo negro y a partir del tobillo incorporar el hilo fucsia par tejer las franjas, dos rondas fucsia y dos rondas en negro.

What happened was that I tried to proceed in a similar way to David Bowie's amigurumi, that is, to make the shoes and from there to knit the leg, but I found a somewhat difficult process, because Nina's shoes are open, which I wanted to say that the striped stockings would show from the top, after trying several times, I decided that I would not worry so much about that detail, it was too late and I still could not finish even one shoe, so I remembered that a while ago I saw on instagram a girl who knitted amigurumis dolls very similar to Barbies, although I admired her technique a lot, I don't like that amgiurumis look so real, because they don't seem woven, that is, I like them to show that they are woven because if I want a plastic doll I buy a plastic one, I don't knit one, but I remembered that the girl knitted the body of her dolls with a pointed foot, that is to say like Barbies, so it occurred to me to knit the foot that way, then i could c she would continue the leg and then would make the shoes apart from her.
In this way I started my knitting with black yarn and # 4 crochet hook (1.25mm), I started it in black because when I tried to do it in two colors applying the technique of increases and decreases to create the pointed instep, the result did not please me. , so I decided to make the foot with black thread and from the ankle to incorporate the fuchsia thread to weave the stripes, two fuchsia rounds and two rounds in black.

Además no sé si me alcance el hilo rosado para la falda, la otra opción es que podría hacerla lila porque mi amigo en su dibujo la hizo morada en lugar de rosada. Aun tengo muchas cosas que pensar, no sé como haré los zapatos naranja con plataformas amarillas, pero estoy muy entusiasmada por este proyecto.
