Sacred unicorn _ Splinterlands | Bucket list #1

Con este patrón aprendí que no es tan sencillo como creí tejer un animal de cuatro patas. De todas maneras me divertí mucho tejiéndolo.

With this pattern I learned that it is not as easy as I thought to knit a four-legged animal. I had a lot of fun knitting it anyway.

Como expliqué en un post anterior, tejer animales parados en 4 patas sigue siendo un reto para mí, por eso decidí guiarme de un patrón ya elaborado para aprender esta técnica en especial. El patrón que utilicé fue de la diseñadora "Zizidora crochet". Una vez aprenda la técnica, quiero elaborar animalitos de diversos tamaños.

As I explained in a previous post, knitting animals standing on 4 legs is still a challenge for me, that's why I decided to use an already made pattern to learn this special technique. The pattern I used was from the designer "Zizidora crochet". Once I learn the technique, I want to make animals in different sizes.

Cuando tejo un patrón por lo general le cambio el color y lo adapto a mi estilo. Esta vez elejí al "Unicornio sagrado" del juego de cartas en línea #Splinterlands para adaptarlo al patrón...Por cierto, esta de es una de mis mejores cartas del equipo Vida.

When I knit a pattern I usually change the colour and adapt it to my style. This time I chose the "Sacred Unicorn" from the online card game #Splinterlands to adapt it to the pattern...Incidentally, this is one of my best cards in the team's life.

Aún siguen de moda los unicornios y este diseño es una buena opción. Incluso puede ser útil para maquetas o coleccionistas porque el patrón es de un caballo realista (muy buena anatomía a escala).

Unicorns are still in fashion and this design is a good choice. It can even be useful for scale models or collectors because the pattern is of a realistic horse (very good scale anatomy).

Este es el resultado de este personaje de 4 patas. Como mencioné al inicio, si bien me guié de un patrón ya elaborado, sigue siendo un reto personal manejar esta técnica (saber cuándo y dónde colocar aumentos, disminuciones, puntos medios altos, puntos altos, etc). Aunque no parezca, este diseño es de una sola pieza (a excepción de la cola y melena, jaja), es sí...debes estar atenta (contar los puntos) al momento de tejerlo para tener buenos resultados. Lo pongo en nivel intermedio por si se animan a tejerlo.

This is the result of this 4-legged character. As I mentioned at the beginning, although I was guided by an already made pattern, it is still a personal challenge to manage this technique (knowing when and where to place increases, decreases, medium high stitches, high stitches, etc). Although it doesn't look like it, this design is only one piece (except for the tail and mane, haha), that's right... you must be attentive (counting the stitches) when knitting it to get good results. I put it in intermediate level in case you want to knit it.
