Hello everyone.
As I told you yesterday, I want to participate in this week's initiative of the Community Incubation Program that #OCD is carrying out and in which it is #NeedleWorkMonday.
I was not able to review last night the material I have as I had already mentioned, but I did it this afternoon and I have some things that I can use to make something nice and useful and that will be liked by the community.
Obviously I would like to win one of the prizes as any of you, but the real reason to participate is to let you know a little a little more of me.
No sé muchas cosas, sobre todo de técnicas de costura y demás. No tengo grandes implementos ni un espacio/taller especialmente para yo coser. No, no es así.
Lo hago en la mesa de comedor de mi apartamento y a veces parece un campo de guerra o como dice mi mamá; “un ponedero de gallina”🙃, sobre todo cuando estoy buscando QUE HACER...jajaja... Sólo tengo mi maquinita de coser, tijeras, cinta métrica, cutter, el “descosedor” y uso un pedazo de jabón como tiza... uhmm ... huele rico! Nada más.
Pero saben qué sí tengo en demasía? GANAS! Ganas de hacer algo que me gusta, ganas de darle rienda suelta a la creatividad que todos tenemos en nuestro interior ; ganas de experimentar esa satisfacción que se siente cuando ves, por ejemplo, un tutorial en “San You Tube” y dices: YO VOY A HACER eso y al final ves que SI LO LOGRASTE.
I don't know a lot of things, especially sewing techniques and such. I don't have great implements or a space/workshop especially for me to sew. No, I don't.
I do it on the dining table in my apartment and sometimes it looks like a war field or as my mom says; "a chicken coop"🙃, especially when I'm looking for WHAT TO DO...hahaha..... I just have my little sewing machine, scissors, tape measure, cutter, the "unstitcher" and I use a piece of soap as chalk...uhmm .... it smells good! That's all.
But you know what I do have too much of? LUST! The desire to do something I like, the desire to unleash the creativity that we all have inside of us; the desire to experience that satisfaction you feel when you see, for example, a tutorial on "San You Tube" and you say: I'M GOING TO DO that and at the end you see that YES YOU MADE IT..
QUE proyecto de costura pienso presentar? Bueno, intenté que mi amiga la almohada me ayudara a decidir peeerooo...me quedé dormida! 🤦♀ Sin embargo, esta tarde mientras revisaba y a medida que iban apareciendo pedazos de tela, se me ocurrió una idea.
No les voy a decir exactamente qué voy a hacer pero será algo sencillo, porque lamentablemente estas semanas siguientes estoy bien comprometida en mi jornada laboral y no puedo dedicarle el tiempo que quisiera al proyecto, pero tampoco quería dejar de participar en el concurso. Lo que si les puedo asegurar es que trataré de hacer algo atractivo a la vista y sobre todo de cuidar los detalles que puedan restarle mérito a mi trabajo, ya que vi que hay creaciones muy bonitas y super bien hechas de muchos de los miembros de este espacio.
Así que, compañeros, a afinar esos motores... ya la carrera comenzó! A coser y disfrutar, que cualquiera puede ganar! 🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏆🥇

WHAT sewing project do I plan to submit? Well, I tried to get my pillow friend to help me decide peeeroo...I fell asleep! 🤦♀ However, this afternoon as I was looking through and as pieces of fabric were appearing, I came up with an idea.
I'm not going to tell you exactly what I'm going to do but it will be something simple, because unfortunately these next weeks I'm well committed in my working day and I can't dedicate as much time as I would like to the project, but I also didn't want to stop participate in the contest. What I can assure you is that I will try to do something attractive to the eye and above all to take care of the details that may detract from my work, as I saw that there are very nice and super well done creations of many of the members of this space.
So, fellow members, tune up those engines... the race is on! Let's sew and enjoy, anyone can win! 🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀🏆🥇
