Luego de casi dos semanas sin tomar aguja e hilos, debido a mi reposo obligatorio no quise dejar pasar un lunes más sin compartir con ustedes, como les venido comentando aprovecharé este tiempo para poder avanzar un poco en mi proyecto de confección de los adornos para mi futuro cuarto de creatividad, por esta razón este fin de semana tomé ganchillo y unos pabilos que encontré guardado en un armario de mi madre para seguir avanzando en mi proyecto.
After almost two weeks without taking needle and yarn, due to my mandatory rest I didn't want to let another Monday go by without sharing with you, as I have been telling you I will take advantage of this time to advance a little in my project of making the ornaments for my future creativity room, for this reason this weekend I took crochet and some wicks that I found saved in a closet of my mother to continue advancing in my project.
Para este proyecto combiné los tonos: rosado que era el color favorito de mi madre y azul que es el mío, también jugué un poco con la combinación de puntos altos básicos para comenzar un granny y luego se me ocurrió tejer cadenetas con puntos bajos a ver que resultaba.
For this project I combined the tones: pink which was my mother's favorite color and blue which is mine, I also played a little with the combination of basic high stitches to start a granny and then it occurred to me to knit chain stitches with low stitches to see what would happen.

A medida que avanzaba en mí proyecto, otro recuerdo vino a mi mente y fueron los bordados de mi abuela, ella solía bordar unos pavos reales hermosísimos y aunque tristemente no sé porque no compartió su talento con ninguna de sus hijas o nietas, este tejido me evocó aquellos acabados de esos bordados.
As I progressed in my project, another memory came to my mind and it was my grandmother's embroidery, she used to embroider beautiful peacocks and although sadly I don't know why she didn't share her talent with any of her daughters or granddaughters, this knitting evoked those embroidery finishes.
Luego de unas 4 horas aproximadamente logré ver el resultado final de este proyecto, fue muy gratificante el poder haber no solo culminar un proyecto en un solo día; con sus debidos intervalos de descanso para no faltar a mi reposo médico claro está, sino el poder combinar los tonos preferidos de mi madre y el mío, a la vez cada uno de los traer a mi mente aquellos recuerdos que estaban guardados en mi baúl de la memoria, y bueno ya veo como mi pared va tomando algo de vida, espero poder seguir contando con su apoyo para seguir avanzando.
After approximately 4 hours I was able to see the final result of this project, it was very gratifying to be able to not only finish a project in one day; with its due intervals of rest so as not to miss my medical rest of course, but to be able to combine my mother's and my favorite tones, and at the same time each one of them bring to my mind those memories that were stored in my memory trunk, and well I see how my wall is taking some life, I hope to continue counting on your support to keep moving forward.
