Sin embargo, el día de ayer me tomé unas horas de mi tiempo, para realizar una tarea asignada el día martes en nuestra casa. Siempre me he caracterizado por ser responsable, me avergüenza tener que decir "no lo hice", salvo que existan razones de mucho peso.

Ayer mientras hacía un turbante, cosa que para mí es algo nuevo, me acordé mucho de ella, por eso quiero compartir este paso a paso con todos ustedes.

También debo mencionarles que se pueden hacer para niñas, por aquí les muestro el patrón con sus medidas. Y pueden usar la tela de su preferencia, considerando que sea elástica o flexible y que no sea calurosa.

Paso a paso de su elaboración:

Lo primero que hacemos es colocar el patrón encima de la tela, previamente doblada según lo indica el patrón, lo sujetamos con alfileres para proceder a picar.

The first thing we do is to place the pattern on top of the fabric, previously folded as indicated in the pattern, we fasten it with pins to proceed to prick.

Retiramos el patrón y empezamos de forma manual, a coser por todo el borde del medio círculo, dejando 1 centímetro aproximado entre la costura y la orilla. Es importante que el hilo sea doble y largo, para posteriormente poder realizar los pasos siguientes. A medida que vamos cociendo, vamos jalando el hilo para que quede arruchado, según se muestra en la imagen, hasta llegar al otro extremo.

We remove the pattern and start sewing by hand, sewing around the edge of the half circle, leaving about 1 centimeter between the seam and the edge. It is important that the thread is double and long, in order to be able to perform the following steps. As we are sewing, we pull the thread so that it is gathered, as shown in the image, until we reach the other end.

Ya cosido todo el medio círculo, templamos bien el hilo para que quede bien ajustado y empezamos a coser para unir, primero por la parte donde hicimos la primera costura hasta llegar al final, luego nos devolvemos con una costura por encima de borde en puntadas un poco más amplias.

Once the half circle is cooked, we temper the thread well so that it is well adjusted and we begin to sew to join, first by the part where we made the first seam until we reach the end, then we return with a seam above the edge in stitches a little wider.

Finalizado todo este proceso, procedemos a voltear la tela para que la costura quede por dentro y se vea como se la muestro en la foto.

Once this process is finished, we proceed to turn the fabric over so that the seam is on the inside and looks like the one shown in the picture.

Es importante mencionar, que este tipo de turbante con este tipo de tela no aprietan, pueden usarlos jovencita como mi hija que me sirvió de modelo o persona más adulta, él se adapta muy bien, es muy suave y cómodo al mismo tiempo.

It is important to mention that this type of turban with this type of fabric is not tight, it can be used by a young girl like my daughter who served me as a model or a more adult person, it adapts very well, it is very soft and comfortable at the same time.

De esta manera culmino mi paso a paso, como verán es sumamente sencillo, pero como siempre se necesita seguir las instrucciones y usar los materiales adecuados. La otra buena noticia es que lo puedes elaborar a mano, no es necesario una máquina de coser, que a veces muchos no tienen. En mi próximo post le mostraré como hacer flores con tela por si prefieren decorar el turbante, es cuestión de preferencia.
