Hola Comunidad #Needleworkmonday. Estamos de vuelta. La semana pasada dimos inicio al concurso promocionado por ustedes en el que nos piden ser sorprendidos con un proyecto el cual se dividió en dos partes.
En la primera parte de mi proyecto presenté la antesala de lo que será una gran fiesta de bienvenida para los nuevos usuarios de #hive. Desde ya los invito a ponerse cómodos para disfrutar de una linda y conmovedora historia.

Hello #Needleworkmonday Community. We're back. Last week we kicked off the contest promoted by you in which you ask us to be surprised with a project which was divided into two parts.
In the first part of my project I presented the prelude to what will be a great welcome for new #hive users. I invite you to make yourselves comfortable to enjoy a beautiful and touching story.

La abeja maestra y su colmena.
Esta es la historia de una linda abeja maestra, quien se dedicaba a pregonar por todas partes las maravillas y las bondades de #hive, una plataforma descentralizada que le brindó la oportunidad de conocer personas, presentar sus proyectos y monetizar con ellos.
Todos los días ella deseaba que más personas se integraran y pasaran a formar parte de hive. Hablaba mucho al respecto. Muchas personas la criticaban, le decían fastidiosa, no le creían y se burlaban.

The master bee and her hive.
This is the story of a beautiful teacher bee, who was dedicated to touting everywhere the wonders and benefits of #hive, a decentralized platform that gave her the opportunity to meet people, present her projects and monetize with them.
Every day she wished that more people would join and become part of hive. She talked about it a lot. Many people criticized her, called her annoying, didn't believe her and made fun of her.

La abeja maestra empezó a dar muestras de avance, exhibió sus logros y nunca dejó de bociferar sobre lo excelente que sería que todos formaran parte de esa hermosa red social. Poco a poco se fueron interesando otras abejitas, quienes recelosas se acercaban a preguntar. Ella las fue convenciendo una a una y así inició su labor de enseñarles de qué se trata #hive y todo lo que podían hacer en ella.

The master bee began to show signs of progress, exhibited her achievements and never stopped babbling about how excellent it would be for everyone to be part of this beautiful social network. Little by little, other bees became interested, and they approached her to ask questions. She convinced them one by one and thus began her work of teaching them what #hive was all about and what they could do on it.

Para alegría de la abeja muchas más fueron llegando, preguntando e instalándose en la colmena. Ella estaba cada vez más feliz al ver que ya no estaba sola. Entre ellas se comunicaban y contaban todo lo que con la abeja maestra iban aprendiendo.

To the bee's delight, many more were arriving, asking questions and settling into the hive. She was happier and happier to see that she was no longer alone. They communicated with each other and told each other everything they were learning with the master bee.

Había una abeja virtuosa, con mucho potencial, dinámica y divertida, a la que la maestra le costaba mucho convencer para que entrara a la colmena. Esta abejita rebelde de manera discreta, veía, oía y leía sobre lo que comentaban las demás abejas.

There was a virtuous bee, with a lot of potential, dynamic and fun, whom the teacher had a hard time convincing to enter the hive. This rebellious little bee discreetly watched, listened and read about what the other bees were saying.

Un día la abeja maestra alcanzó un logro significativo y no dudó en comentarlo enseguida a las demás abejas, haciéndolo en voz alta para que la abejita rebelde escuchara y se acercara. La excelente maestra logró su objetivo, la abejita rebelde se incorporó a la colmena, mostrándose muy interesada en aprender. Ahora todas juntas y sin temor a ser criticadas hablan de todo y a cada rato de lo que hacen o piensan hacer para hive.

One day the master bee reached a significant achievement and did not hesitate to tell the other bees about it right away, making it loud enough for the rebellious little bee to hear and come closer. The excellent teacher achieved her goal, the rebellious bee joined the hive, showing great interest in learning. Now, all together and without fear of being criticized, they talk about everything and every now and then about what they do or plan to do for hive.

Fue tanta la alegría que sintió la abeja maestra que decidió organizar una gran fiesta de bienvenida para todas las abejas de la colmena.
Cuando todo estuvo dispuesto, disfrutaron mucho juntas y se divirtieron recordando la manera en que cada una fue incorporándose. Y colorín colorado esta historia no ha terminado...

The master bee was so happy that she decided to organize a big welcome party for all the bees in the hive.
When everything was ready, they had a great time together and had fun remembering how each one of them had been incorporated. And that's not the end of the story...

Espero que les haya gustado la historia de la abeja maestra, es totalmente original y de mi autoría. Ahora paso a contarles cómo realicé cada una de las partes en que se compone mi proyecto.
El teatrino. Lo realicé con una caja reciclada, papel bond blanco, tela roja, pegamento, tijeras y un tejido que elaboré hace algún tiempo en el que se puede leer la palabra hive. La caja la forré y luego le coloqué en una esquina el tejido.

I hope you liked the story of the master bee, it is totally original and of my authorship. Now I will tell you how I made each of the parts of my project.
The theater. I made it with a recycled box, white bond paper, red fabric, glue, scissors and a fabric that I made some time ago in which you can read the word hive. I lined the box and then placed the fabric in one corner.

Panal. Utilicé papel de bolsa reciclada, pintura al frío, pinceles, pegamento y tijeras. Realicé un cordón más o menos grueso y luego lo enrrollé dándole forma de espiral, pero formando un triángulo o pirámide. Luego lo pinté y dejé secar.

Honeycomb. I used recycled paper bag paper, cold paint, brushes, glue and scissors. I made a more or less thick cord and then rolled it into a spiral shape, but forming a triangle or pyramid. Then I painted it and let it dry.

Abejitas. Para tejer la abeja rebelde me guié por el patrón de la abeja maestra, el cual puedes volver a ver en la primera parte del proyecto. La diferencia está en el hilo que usé y la aguja. Para todas estas abejitas empleé hilo de coser tomado en tres hebras y una aguja de crochet de 0,75 mm.
Como puedes observar en las imágenes, preparas tres carretes de hilo del mismo color y con las tres hebras unidas comienzas a tejer.

Bees. To knit the rebel bee I was guided by the pattern of the master bee, which you can see again in the first part of the project. The difference is in the yarn I used and the needle. For all these bees I used three strands of sewing thread and a 0.75 mm crochet needle.
As you can see in the pictures, you prepare three spools of yarn of the same color and with the three strands joined together you start knitting.

Abejitas. Estas abejas más pequeñas las hice modificando el patrón de la siguiente manera:
- Las primeras vueltas solo las tejí hasta 1pb-1 aumento. Continué igual, siguiendo el patrón hasta llegar a la vuelta de las disminuciones; en vez de disminuir 3pb sólo disminuí uno y en la siguiente vuelta tejí sin aumentos ni disminuciones. Luego tejí una sola vuelta con solo disminuciones y cerré el tejido con aguja lanera. A estas abejas les bordé los ojos, cejas y boca. Para las antenas coloqué dos hebras de hilo negro.
Las alitas las tejí asi: - Un anillo mágico, levanto una cadena, tres mpa, tres pb, un mpa y me devuelvo tipo espejo.

Little bees. These smaller bees I made by modifying the pattern as follows:
- The first few rounds I only knitted them up to 1bp-1 increase. I continued the same, following the pattern until I reached the decrease round; instead of decreasing 3 bps I only decreased one and in the next round I knitted without increases or decreases. Then I knitted a single round with only decreases and closed the knitting with a wool needle. For these bees I embroidered the eyes, eyebrows and mouth. For the antennae I placed two strands of black thread.
I knitted the wings like this: - A magic ring, I pick up a chain, three mpa, three pb, one mpa and return mirror type.

Telón. Cosí para hacer un semiarruchado en un rectángulo de tela blanca. Luego lo sujeté con alfileres en el borde superior del teatrino.

Telon. I sewed to make a semi-ruching on a rectangle of white fabric. I then pinned it to the top edge of the theatrical.

Papelillos. Para estos colgantes y papelillos de fiesta utilicé un empaque de galletas Sorbeticos (mis preferidas de toda la vida). Primero corté unas tiras y luego cuadritos. Estos los pegué en un trocito de hilo nylon transparente. Los dejé secar y luego con cinta adhesiva los colgué en el teatrino en una esquina.

Papelillos. For these party paper and wall hangings I used a Sorbeticos cookie packaging (my all time favorite). First I cut some strips and then squares. I glued them on a small piece of transparent nylon thread. I let them dry and then with tape I hung them on the teatrino in a corner.

Estoy muy emocionada al ver ya concretado mi proyecto, mostrárselos deseando que puedan apreciarlo. Recuerden que cuando hacemos las cosas con amor, poniéndole el corazón y con sabiduría todos nos quedará muy bien. Si no para lo demás, bien lo será para nosotros mismos.
Medidas del teatrino: 39 cm de ancho por 29 cm de alto.
Abeja maestra: 11 cm desde la cabeza hasta el aguijón.
Abeja rebelde: 6,5 cm.
Abejas pequeñas: 4 cm cada una.
