Hello everyone. I hope this is a great week for you. Around here, a new school year is almost about to start, and mothers are busy with activities for the beginning of the school year. That's why I was excited to make a nice bookmark 🔖 that could be useful for students, representatives and teachers. Bookmarks are an accessory in our supplies, one of those that are cute and practical at the same time. I hope this model is to your liking and you are encouraged to make some to use or to give as a gift.
MARCAPÁGINAS 🔖 PARA INICIAR EL CICLO ESCOLAR.
BOOKMARKS 🔖 TO START THE SCHOOL YEAR.
Para realizar el marcapáginas decidí usar el hilo nylon color blanco que compré en meses pasados. He usado este hilo solo en dos proyectos de tejidos, me encantaría poder usarlo más, pero todavía no tengo idea 💡 de lo que puedo tejer con él, así que quise probarlo en este proyecto porque sé que el resultado sería bonito además de que el marcapáginas quedaría firme y muy plano.
🔖 Los materiales que necesité para tejerlo son: hilo nylon color blanco 🤍, aguja de crochet de 2,25mm, aguja lanera, tijeras, encendedor y cinta métrica.
To make the bookmark I decided to use the white nylon yarn that I bought in the past months. I have used this yarn only in two knitting projects, I would love to be able to use it more, but I still have no idea 💡 what I can knit with it, so I wanted to try it in this project because I know the result would be nice plus the bookmark would be firm and very flat.
🔖 The materials I needed to knit it are: white nylon yarn 🤍, 2.25mm crochet needle, wool needle, scissors, lighter and tape measure.
🔖 Lo primero que pensé fue en el tamaño de mi MARCAPÁGINAS 🔖, esta vez lo tejí para usar cuando esté leyendo algunos libros de la enciclopedia. Entonces comencé con 15 cadenas de base y sobre ellas tejí 14 puntos bajos.
🔖 The first thing I thought about was the size of my PAGE MARKER 🔖, this time I knitted it to use when I am reading some encyclopedia books. So I started with 15 base chains and over them I knit 14 low stitches.
🔖 Subí con 3 cadenas y tejí una vuelta de puntos altos.
🔖 I went up with 3 chains and knitted a round of double crochets.
🔖 Subí con 3 cadenas y tejí 4 puntos altos en total.
🔖 I went up with 3 chains and knitted 4 double crochets in total.
🔖 Tejí 3 cadenas y en el siguiente punto tejí 3 puntos altos juntos.
🔖 I knitted 3 chains and in the next stitch I knitted 3 double crochets together.
🔖 Dejé sin tejer 3 puntos de la base y en el siguiente tejí 1 punto bajo.
🔖 I left 3 base stitches unknitted and in the next one I knitted 1 single crochet.
🔖 Enseguida tejí 3 cadenas y luego tejí 3 puntos altos dejando 2 espacios sin trabajar en la base.
🔖 Next I chained 3 stitches and then crocheted 3 double crochet stitches leaving 2 spaces unworked at the base.
🔖 Para iniciar la próxima vuelta tejí 3 cadenas y luego 2 puntos altos para completar 3 en total.
🔖 To start the next round I knitted 3 chains and then 2 double crochets to complete 3 in total.
🔖 Tejí 3 cadenas y sobre las cadenas anteriores tejí 3 puntos altos, para luego tejer 1 punto bajo en las siguientes 3 cadenas.
🔖 I knitted 3 chains and on the previous chains I knitted 3 double crochets, then knitted 1 single crochet in the next 3 chains.
🔖 Luego tejí 3 cadenas y 4 puntos altos sobre los de la vuelta anterior. De aquí en adelante solo se trata de repetir el patrón. Una vez comenzando con 4 puntos altos y la otra comenzando con 3 puntos altos.
🔖 Then I knit 3 chains and 4 high stitches over the ones from the previous round. From here on it's just a matter of repeating the pattern. Once starting with 4 high stitches and the other starting with 3 high stitches.
🔖 Una vez que completé el largo deseado de mi MARCAPÁGINAS 🔖 lo que hice fue tejer una vuelta de solo puntos bajos. Cerré y rematé. Escondiendo el hilo sobrante con la aguja lanera.
🔖 Para la decoración del MARCAPÁGINAS decidí hacerle una borla con el mismo hilo. Tu puedes hacerle otro detalle si es tu gusto.
🔖 Once I completed the desired length of my PAPERBOARD 🔖 what I did was to knit a round of just single crochet. I closed and topped off. Hiding the leftover yarn with the wool needle.
🔖 For the decoration of the PAPERBOOK I decided to make a tassel with the same yarn. You can make another detail if you like.
Quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado. Me encanta el hilo nylon porque es brilloso y rígido. En este tipo de proyectos luce muy bonito el tejido. Ahora tengo un nuevo MARCAPÁGINAS 🔖 que usaré cuando esté leyendo los libros de mi enciclopedia, aunque usted no lo crea aquí en casa todavía usamos los libros en físico, nos hemos deshecho de muchos libros, donándolos a bibliotecas o a familias cercanas, pero nos quedamos con los que más leemos. ¿Qué les parece este modelo de MARCAPÁGINAS? Díganme si les gustó.
I was very satisfied with the result. I love nylon thread because it is shiny and stiff. In this type of project it looks very pretty on the fabric. Now I have a new PAPERBOOK 🔖 that I will use when I am reading the books in my encyclopedia, believe it or not here at home we still use physical books, we have gotten rid of many books, donating them to libraries or to close families, but we keep the ones we read the most.
