Feliz inicio de semana amigas trabajadoras de las agujas. Vengo muy contenta a participar en el nuevo reto presentado por la amiga @irenenavarroart. Es la primera vez que participo elaborando proyectos sobre Halloween. Me parece divertido. Me encanta cuando asumo este tipo de compromisos porque aprendo mucho y de esta forma estoy preparada para cuando sea necesario cumplir con algún pedido relacionado.
En esta oportunidad consulté con dos amigos muy queridos que acostumbran visitar lugares decorados con motivos sobre el día de brujas. Aunque en Venezuela no solemos celebrar y tampoco es un día festivo, algunas personas y dueños de los comercios ambientan con lindos detalles representativos a tal fecha.
En estas decoraciones no faltan las bombas y las figuras de calabazas. Ayer fui a la bodega y los dueños estaban decorando con globos de color negro y anaranjado. Ya se veía muy bonito. Espero cumplir con el reto de los siete días y deseo que mis amigas @linita @kattycrochet @maria1835 @vicmito74 nos muestren sus lindos proyectos. Estoy muy emocionada y quiero ver muy colorida la comunidad #needleworkmonday. Aquí pueden ver las reglas del reto. Les encantará.
Happy start of the week, my needleworker friends. I am very happy to participate in the new challenge presented by my friend @irenenavarroart. It's the first time I'm participating with projects about Halloween. I think it's fun. I love when I take on this kind of commitments because I learn a lot and this way I am prepared for when it is necessary to fulfill a related request.
This time I consulted with two very dear friends who usually visit places decorated with Halloween motifs. Although in Venezuela we do not usually celebrate and it is not a holiday, some people and store owners decorate with nice details representative of this date.
In these decorations there is no lack of bombs and pumpkin figures. Yesterday I went to the bodega and the owners were decorating with black and orange balloons. It was already looking very nice. I hope to meet the seven day challenge and I hope my friends @linita @kattycrochet @maria1835 @vicmito74 show us their cute projects. 🎃 Elegí realizar este cotillón con la finalidad de guardar allí el resto de los productos terminados al finalizar este reto. También me servirá de modelo para mostrar a mis clientes. ¡Empecemos!

🎃 Dibujamos, recortamos y traspasamos a la tela de fieltro todas las partes que componen el diseño. En este caso es la cabeza de un Frankestein.
🎃 We draw, cut out and transfer to the felt fabric all the parts that make up the design. In this case it is the head of a Frankenstein.
🎃 Los tornillos que van a los lados de la cabeza los haremos dobles cada uno para que queden firmes al coserlos.

🎃 Nos aseguramos de que las piezas recortadas se ajusten al tamaño de la cara.
🎃 Cortamos en fieltro negro dos tiras de 10 cm por 3 cm para hacer las asas del cotillón.
🎃 Colocamos un botón verde en una orilla de cada asa.

🎃 We cut out of black felt two 10 cm by 3 cm strips to make the cotillion handles.
🎃 We place a green button on one edge of each handle.
🎃 Empezamos las costuras. Las piezas pequeñas las cosemos primero. Los ojos y las cejas juntos. Los tornillos y el cabello.
🎃 We start the seams. The small pieces we sew first. The eyes and eyebrows together. The screws and the hair.
🎃 Estas piezas las cosemos en una de las tapas verdes del cotillón.
🎃 Cosemos también la nariz y bordamos la boca. Todo lo haremos antes de coser las dos tapas del cotillón o bolsa.
🎃 We sew these pieces on one of the green covers of the cotillion.
🎃 We also sew the nose and embroider the mouth. We will do all this before sewing the two covers of the cotillion or bag.
🎃 Juntamos las dos tapas verdes y cosemos por los bordes dejando abierta la parte superior.
🎃 Para finalizar colocamos las asas.
🎃 We put the two green lids together and sew along the edges leaving the top open.
🎃 To finish we place the handles.
