I've been knitting at full speed on several projects at the same time and against the clock and it might seem a little stressful but not for me. I have learned that I work better under pressure. I can deliver better results and demand a little more from myself, in contrast to when I have time to do things, I tend to relax more than I should.

He estado tejiendo a toda máquina en varios proyectos a la vez y contra reloj y pudiera parecer algo estresante pero no para mí. He aprendido que trabajo mejor bajo presión. Puedo dar mejores resultados y exigirme un poco más, en contraste a cuando dispongo de tiempo para hacer las cosas, pues me suelo relajar más de lo conveniente.

Among the things I have been doing, two of them are related to my son Carlos. Today he went to a children's camp for three days, organized by the church we attend and I was making some key chains in the shape of little bees to give to the children and a personalized envelope with a letter from the parents addressed to their son, but this is material for another publication.

Entre las cosas que he estado haciendo dos de ellas están relacionadas con mi hijo Carlos. Hoy se fue a un campamento de niños por tres días, organizado por la iglesia a la que asistimos y estuve haciendo unos llaveros en forma de abejitas para regalar a los niños y un sobre personalizado con una carta de los padres dirigida a su hijo, pero esto es material de otra publicación.

In the middle of everything I found time to finish my tulips because I really wanted to see how they looked and several days ago I had already knitted all the pieces, I only needed to assemble them.

En medio de todo saqué tiempo para terminar mis tulipanes pues tenía muchas ganas de ver cómo quedaban y hacia varios días que ya tenías todas las piezas tejidas, solo faltaba armarlos.

Being the most advanced project, I decided to finish it and here I show you the result as well as the process of its elaboration.

Por ser el proyecto más avanzado, me dispuse a terminarlo y aqui les muestro el resultado así como el proceso de su elaboración.

Each flower has 6 petals. The 3 inner petals are a little smaller than the outer ones, for this reason the smaller ones we work on the basis of 10 chain stitches and the bigger ones on the basis of 13 chain stitches. We knit in oval form, where the increases are made at the ends of the chains. In the first row the increases are made at the end of the chain with 3 low stitches in the last stitch and when we knit the other edge of the chain back to the starting point, we make the other increase and close with a slip stitch.

Cada flor consta de 6 pétalos. Los 3 pétalos internos son un poco más pequeños que los de afuera, por esta razón los de menor tamaño trabajamos sobre la base de 10 puntos de cadena y los más grandes sobre 13 puntos de cadena. Tejemos en forma ovalada, dónde los aumentos se realizan en los extremos de las cadenas. En la primera vuelta los aumentos se hacen al final de la cadena con 3 puntos bajos en el último punto y al tejer el otro borde de la cadena de regreso al punto de inicio, realizamos el otro aumento y cerramos con punto deslizado.

We make the second round starting with three chain stitches and continue with single crochet stitches until where we have made the first increase. There we make an increase in each stitch, that is to say, where we had three stitches, now we will make an increase in each stitch for six stitches in total. We knit to the other end and make the corresponding increases to close in slip stitch.

Hacemos la segunda vuelta empezando con tres puntos de cadena y seguimos con puntos bajos hasta donde hemos hecho el primer aumento. Allí realizamos un aumento en cada punto, es decir dónde teníamos tres puntos, ahora realizaremos un aumento en cada punto para seis puntos en total. Tejemos hasta el otro extremo y hacemos los aumentos correspondientes para cerrar en punto deslizado.

Let's assemble the flowers. The closed model does not have black pistils. In this case we glue each petal directly. First the three small ones and then the three big ones. We glue the excess threads of the petals on the toothpick and then with green thread we cover the entire toothpick up to the part where we will place the leaves.

Vamos a armar las flores. El modelo cerrado no lleva los pistilos de color negro. En este caso pegamos directamente cada pétalo. Primero los tres pequeños y luego los tres grandes. Pegamos los excesos de hilos de los pétalos sobre el palillo y luego con hilo verde cubrimos todo el palillo hasta la parte donde colocaremos las hojas.

The open flower is made in the same way only with the pistil which is passed through the toothpick and this allows the petals to remain open. The rest is done in the same way as the previous one.

La flor abierta se hace de la misma manera solo que con el pistilo el cual se pasa a través del palillo y éste permite que los pétalos permanezcan abiertos. El resto se hace igual que la anterior.
