It was a warm day, so I agreed with my sister to go all the way to Deliblato sandstone, to pick St. John's wort if there were any flowers left....
In the neighborhood there was a field of mown grain, and straw in the form of rolls, which is such a beautiful picture for me... Those are the fields of my Banat!
As we reached the forest, we passed fields of sunflowers, which I had to photograph....
My favorite flower, to me a symbol of summer and sun.....
Did you know that the sunflower is a mathematical miracle of nature?
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) originates from America, dates back 5000 years...
" The sunflower displays its seeds in two spirals of seeds that twist and turn in opposite directions, fanning from the center to the golden petals...
If you were to map any of those spirals onto a chart, they would exactly follow the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21…), where you add the number to the one before it to get the next number.
Although the famous spiral formula is attributed to Fibonacci, the 13th-century Italian mathematician, scientists in India described the sequence centuries before him—and they probably weren't the first to figure it out either."
A mystical plant that has survived millions of years.. To be admired even today..

From the whole trip under the sun and temperature of over 30 C, this short break was the most beautiful....❤️🌻🌻🌻
