Second January and I miss the snow...
I'm going for a walk in the mountains and there was no sign of winter... A difficult climb, but it was easy for me.... I've always liked rock climbing more than an ordinary climb...
Climbing with a group of people is much different than going alone or a few of you...
There is a sense of community, because we have the same goal... To climb to a peak....
This time we were in for a surprise, snow on one part up to the top...
There I had the feeling that winter had arrived. At the top, the wind was blowing, and the snow made a work of art on the branches of rare trees.
Snow always reminds me of Đoleta Balašević's song I don't like January!
"I don't like January or the white devils of winter.
In every snow I see the same tracks,
traces of small feet, number thirty and who knows,
how slowly they leave.
I don't pass Dositejeva street anymore
and I have no idea when someone asks where it is.
Those two hundred and six steps along the length of that alley
I never counted.
I never looked after you,
I never caressed you, looked after you.
I trampled on your love,
came up with a number for everything.
I never spared you
and I could not stop or stay.
What will become of me
my little angel?
I don't watch movies from the early seventies,
there are enough tears and farewells of the unhappy.
Who records such things? It's a very strange world,
they cry so easily.... "
The song is a bit sad, but wonderful...
I imagine quiet white nights, with tracks in the snow... While the snow blows and slowly covers them...
The man who makes them disappears among the snowflakes in the night...
I got snow at least for a while, and winter was finally a real winter..
Thank you so much for visiting my blog ❤️
