Ponds hold little treasures.

There are two actors in this story, a dragonfly and a damselfly.

Amazing what one can get on camera when spending a bit of time at a pond.

But first I want to show you some relaxing shots of the pond, as I regard water as a stimulator of our senses. They reckon that each one of us is put together by 90% of water and that is why we can so strongly identify with water. The ocean can attest to this truth as it draws tremendous crowds at all times. Rivers, dams, and ponds also have that special attraction for us.
So come and see.

This is the damselfly that is the other actor in the story.

Here we have a lovely, sunbathed water plant surrounded by fairy lights.

Just a lady wondering in nature with some swallows on her hips.

Beautiful little goldfish were also doing their thing.

Here below we see the dragonfly and below it, at the left, the damselfly coming in to land.

The dragonfly landed at the top, and the damselfly was considering its landing options.

At first, I thought that the damselfly would try to chase the dragonfly.

But not to be, as the damselfly dropped down to land on plant stem below the dragonfly.

So peace reigned and it was wonderful to just sit and watch the life in the pond. It was Sunday and many people were attending a market on the farm where we were, but thankfully the pond was isolated and everyone ignored it, except me of course. Always so amazing to see, how people can simply ignore nature as if it does not exist. Then again, some of us know and love nature and that is why it always welcomes us with beautiful pictures.

And That's All Friends.
