The Kalanchoe mala madre (Kalanchoe daigremontiana) is a species of succulent plant, of the Euphorbiaceae family, which normally grows in desert and stony areas of the countries of North Africa and the Horn of Africa. This plant is resistant to desert heat and cold, and can withstand near freezing temperatures.
Its name is due to the fact that it is impossible to kill and it gives many children, so its propagation is 100%.

It is a special plant for people who want to enter the world of succulents, because they are very easy to grow and, as I said before, they are almost impossible to kill. In almost all houses there are plants of this species, because as the children are released, the air is in charge of taking care of them everywhere.

This plant is characterized by having thick, dark green or dark gray stems. Its flowers are small yellow or orange. The mala madre plant is used as an ornamental and medicinal plant. It has a strong amount of essential oil in its leaves, which makes it a good option for the treatment of skin conditions and tissue regeneration. In addition, the mala madre plant is considered an aphrodisiac due to its traditional uses in remedies for impotence. Also, it is commonly used as an insecticide. Many say that it can also be eaten, but you have to find out carefully because there are several types and they can be easily confused.
I hope my information helps you and you liked my post.
