Snowdrops

In a wood so peaceful and still,
Where the trees reach tall and the air is chill,
There grows a sight so fair to see,
A carpet of snowdrops, as white as can be.

The tiny flowers, like stars in the night,
Dance in the breeze, catching the light,
Each petal delicate, soft and pure,
A symbol of hope, a sign that spring is sure.

In the heart of winter, when all seems lost,
These tiny flowers, at whatever the cost,
Bring a ray of sunshine, to chase away the blues,
And fill the air with a fragrance, so sweet and so true.

So if you're feeling down, and life seems cold,
Take a walk in the wood, where the snowdrops unfold,
And let their beauty, and their gentle grace,
Bring joy to your heart and a smile to your face.
