Přímo na dně vyschlé pánve Etosha různě polehávali nebo chodili velcí býložravci. Bylo to sice jen pár desítek/stovek metrů od okraje, ale nechápu, co tam hledali za štěstí. Vedro bylo přesně tak příšerné, jak to sálá z těch fotek. Jediné co mě napadá, že se k nim nepozorovaně nedostane žádný dravec. Já bych tam ovšem nevydržel dýl než pár minut, než bych omdlel.
Right at the bottom of the dry Etosha Basin, large herbivores lay or walked in various ways. It was only a few tens / hundreds of meters from the edge, but I do not understand what they were looking for there. The heat was just as awful as the photos. The only thing that occurs to me is that no predator can get to them unnoticed. But I wouldn't stay there for more than a few minutes before I passed out.
