So I photographed what I could around the camp, but a few tens of meters from the car is too far when you are unlucky. A 200 kg lion rolling in 50 cm high grass is simply not visible. If he happens to sneak in, he's invisible. As the ranger in Kruger once said, "you won't see a lion."
Důvod proč jsem nechodil do křoví, nevystupoval v křoví z auta a nechodil daleko od auta i na přehledných úsecích. Lvi přijdou klidně i do kempu, stejně je to jen plácek pod stromem kde parkuje 1-2 auta. Takže kolem tábořiště jsem fotil co se dalo, ale ono už pár desítek metrů je prostě moc, když má člověk smůlu. 200 kg lev co se válí v 50 cm vysoké trávě prostě není vidět. Kdyby se náhodou chtěl připlížit tak už vůbec ne. Jak říkal jednou ranger v Krugeru "lva neuvidíš".
