Fala pessoal!!
Resolvi começar a rodar um node e ser uma testemunha da Hive. Estou fazendo isso a princípio para ajudar a fortalecer o blockchain, pois quanto mais nodes e mais testemunhas a Hive tiver, mais forte e descentralizada ela vai ser. A princípio sei que não vou produzir blocos suficientes para pagar o meu custo com o node, mas hoje a Hive ja me paga de muitas outras formas e assim estou ajudando a fortalecer ainda mais a rede. Também quero ajudar a dar mais peso para a presença de Brasileiros na Hive e de alguma forma ajudar a divulgar nossa comunidade.
Pra colocar o node para funcionar, eu segui as instruções deste post @mahdiyari/how-to-build-and-run-a-hive-node-witnessseedconsensus-and-account-history-nodes do @mahdiyari . O post foi muito bem feito e bem fácil de seguir. Ainda assim tive umas pequenas duvidas, e queria agradecer a paciência e a ajuda do @fernandosoder, que também me deu o primeiro voto.
Agora, o próximo passo é estudar um pouco mais a rede e sua api e ver como posso usar os meus conhecimentos para contribuir com algum projeto, ou quem sabe desenvolver algum novo projeto na Hive.

Hello everyone!
I decided to start running a node and a witness for Hive. I'm doing this because I want to help strengthen the blockchain, as the more nodes and witnesses Hive has, the stronger and more decentralized it will be. At start I know that I will not produce enough blocks to pay my cost of running a node, but Hive already pays me in many other ways, and I think that doing this will help Hive get stronger. I also want to help strengthen the presence of Brazilians on Hive and somehow help spread the word about our community.
To run this node, I followed the instructions on this post: @mahdiyari/how-to-build-and-run-a-hive-node-witnessseedconsensus-and-account-history-nodes from @mahdiyari . The post was very well done and easy to follow. I still had some questions, so I want to thank @fernandosoder for his patience in helping me, and also for giving me my first vote.
Now, next step is to keep studying the blockchain and the api to see how can I use my knowledge to contribute in a project, or maybe start a new project on Hive.
