(PT-EN) Battle Chalenge Gem Meteor

#PT first, #EN depois

Bora joga e aprender enquanto joga.

ATRIBUTOS DO CARD UTILIZADO

Mana: 5 unidades

Splinter: NEUTRAL

Edição: CHAOS EDITION

Raridade: ÉPICA

Habilidades:

MEU TIME

TIME ADVERSÁRIO

A vitória parecia certa.

#PT first, #EN later

Hey guys, @CrazyPhantomBR in the area! My participation in the Weekly Battle Challenge, this is the best game in the #hive #play2earn ecosystem that exists!! #Splinterlands!!

This post is a submission to Weekly Battle Challenge Splinterlands!

I confess that I was taken by surprise when I saw the card object of this week's challenge. I didn't recognize either the photo or the name. I immediately opened my favorite rental site, PeakMonster, and checked the rent.

I took a card at level 4 right away, to put this card that I didn't even know on the battlefield: Gem Meteor. I really like the weekly challenges! I think it's very productive, and serves the purpose of putting the game in the trending topics.

OBJECTIVE

No nonsense, today's goal is to put the card to play. I don't even know the letter, are you going to expect me to have tips? There's nothing, buddy. Let's play and learn while playing.

ATTRIBUTES OF THE CARD USED

Mana: 5 units

Splinter: NEUTRAL

Edition: CHAOS EDITION

Rarity: EPIC

Skills:
  • Scattershot: Attacks a random opponent.

Well, I don't have this card, so I rented it directly at level 4 to get a real idea of its usefulness.

MARKET VALUE

According to the SplinterCards website, this card at Level 1 is being traded today for U$0.43 per bcx, that is, to get it at Level 4, which is what I used in this battle, we need 20 bcx, which makes its value $8.60. As for renting, we found it at Level 4 for 2.6 DEC, which is an acceptable value, in my point of view. The value of the card has stabilized over time. Today it was around the center of U$0.095, where it has remained for some months, which signals that it has reached its real value.

In this chart made available by SplinterCards.com, we see that the prices practiced are on a downward slope, that is, the card has not yet stabilized its price. The number of cards in circulation is 30,000 out of a total universe of 90,000 printed cards. Keep this in mind when evaluating card purchases, as well as time to market.

MY OPINION ABOUT THE CARD

This card has characteristics that I find interesting, and others that I don't like. I am very pleased to belong to the Neutral splinter, as it gives versatility in fitting it into different teams. His attributes are balanced, consistent with each other.

Its attack strength seems adequate to its mana cost, and its life points allow me to decide between leaving it in the last position of the team, if that is useful to me. I mean, I don't feel obligated to protect her.

As for being a ranged type, I lose a bit of interest, as it's not exactly my style of play. And his skill, Scattershot, is more of a situation that depends solely on luck. And we don't want to depend on luck, do we?

ATTRIBUTES

Its 5 mana cost is average for the damage it deals and the life points it has. Since my summoner Thaddius Brood is Level 5 (leased), there's no need to level up the card.

Analyzing the evolution of the attributes, not even at level 4 the Gem Meteor card acquires a second skill, which justifies my position of only having it at a higher level if it is in bigger leagues and with adequate summoners.

RULESET

This battle took place in the GOLD III league (Modern mode) and can be watched via this link: https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_2c49d03310db135c02276167c2d71463&ref=crazyphantombr

MY TEAM

I chose to take Cursed Windeku because I didn't pay attention to the ruleset, as I should have used Harklaw in front, followed by Arachne Thug, which is my newfavorite card. From then on, he followed the ranged tram.

ADVERSARY TEAM

The opponent chose a mixed team with only one magic attack, which will be debuffed. Due to the difference in summoner levels, I should take this one easy.

Victory seemed certain.

At the end of the fourth round, we realized that victory was indeed guaranteed.

The victory comes after a very calm game, with the participation of the card Gem Meteor with blows on Gargoya Devil, Lira the Dark, and the final blow on Disintegrator. No missed attacks.

I think this card is worth having because it can be slotted in easily, and I see a lot of synergy with Kelya as it will add speed and shield, and also with General Sloan which boosts its attack power. So let's buy some bcx?
