Hello, Happy Sunday Photo lovers. Like every year during the beginning of the summer, this succulent pops out beautiful flowers. Still the bud remains unopened, but it will soon and most probably I will be posting it for sure. This succulent belongs to the family of Stapelia and the flower has some small hairs, it smells a bit like rotten and the purpose is to attract insects with the intention of guaranteeing the necessary pollination. The flower has a short life, usually just one day.
This plant sits on my terrace table and the falling sun of the afternoon hits on it every day. Hope you like this photo and once the flower opens I will capture it and post it.
Happy new week! Don't forget to Power Up some hive. Cheers!
