This shot is from my Metaverse art gallery

I have always been fascinated by the works of the great artists of the past. So, when I saw my blank canvas I already knew just what I wanted to paint. I decided to create a painting of the famous Monalisa using acrylic paints but this time I will apply the cubism style.

I devoted hours to reading about the various Cubist methods and trying out various color schemes and brush strokes. I had been able to produce an art piece that I am proud of after numerous unsuccessful tries.

Art Materials:

  • Stretch Canvas 30*40 cm
  • Paint brushes
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Easel Stand
  • Acrylic paint
  • Retarder
  • Water

For my first step. of course, I need a guide so I started with sketching and since it is cubism I used a ruler for shape and line proportions.

When I am already satisfied with the lining and shapes, I started the painting process and I begin with the smallest to biggest shape.

I keep the outline darker so I have the guide for details.

I keep it simple and colorful, I am also in the process of experimenting with the color mixtures cause I'm not mastered them yet lol well, the truth is I'm not a pro in that aspect however, as long as I enjoy the process it doesn't matter to me.

Why Monalisa?

There are many reasons why I admire the Mona Lisa painting. First of all, it is regarded as one of the finest works of art ever created. The image of Mona Lisa is a masterpiece that Leonardo da Vinci created during the period known as the Renaissance and displays his extraordinary talent and attention to detail.

The enigmatic smile on the Mona Lisa's face is one factor that draws admirers to her. Since the smile is both enigmatic and fascinating, viewers have been captivated by it for millennia. The appeal of the painting is further enhanced by the numerous interpretations of the significance of the smile.

In conclusion, the enigmatic smile, historical relevance, and enduring popularity of the Mona Lisa's artwork are all reasons why people like it. It still holds the attention of viewers everywhere and serves as evidence of Leonardo da Vinci's brilliance.

Anyways, I called this artwork of mine "MONALISHAPE"
