Recently, i have been contemplating and had realized many things in life. I'm 25 years old now a professional but still struggling in life. To be honest, i'm still lost and still worries about many things including my future. In my 25 years of existence and I’ve learnt that life is not just about happiness, rather it is filled with so many other emotions in just a day. Happiness is a one word substitute for so many emotions like success, love, enjoyment, excitement and many other emotions that make us feel good. This might be a quarter life crisis? Life in reality and its wholeness will hurl everything our way with no discrimination on how it’ll make us feel.

Working and Studying at the same time is Draining

At present, i'm currently a college Instructor and a 3rd year LAW student. Everyday is a hassle in life. During Weekdays, i teach college students here our city, and during weekends i had to travel to the other region to study as a law student. I always believed that teaching is the most noble profession (apologies to those who believe that other professions can claim that title). Being a law student is a big challenge specially with the readings and time management. Doing both together is a physical, mental and emotional torture for sure.

Teaching is demanding yet fulfilling

Throughout the years, no other profession has as marked of an impact, over such an extended time, as teaching especially teaching adults. Its always fulfilling to see the growth and progress of your students. Teachers and mentors shape lives, in partnership with parents, families, medical professionals, the broader community and more people in general. Teachers show unwavering commitment which is always an underrated statement because of their passion & the responsibility of nurturing the future of the country. A country cannot develop without outstanding teachers because they make the subject interesting for the students, right?

However, being a teacher is always a big challenge. A lot of people look up on you which concludes that you need to always act accordingly to your profession. The greatest common challenge in teaching based on my experienced is the lack of discipline among the learners and students who don't want to get disciplined . The indiscipline is much than it was ten years ago. This is a true reflection of the decadence of societal morality. Its been draining.

As a teacher, no matter how big your personal problem is, you need to firm and act like ever you are okay. That no matter what you are going through you should always be positive in front of your student. In life, being professional or acting as one can ensure a positive first impression, successful interpersonal relationships and a lasting reputation within your organization and industry. Without discpline it is impossible to learn.

Teaching is a job that needs you to be on your feet all day, and there’s often little time for rest and contemplate . So on top of being on your feet, you need to be keeping busy bees’ minds active and be attentive to details. These things are already challenging, but what more if you are also studying in a law school.

Law School is like your Jealous Mistress

Throughout my experience as a law student in my 3rd year, you need to be alert and active all the time to As a law student, you will spend countless hours learning cases that may or may not interest you. You will be called to recite in class whether or not you finished the reading assignments and the lawyers and your professors are ruthless.

It is hard, but it is hard because it requires discipline, which you will be responsible for. That discipline is what is going to make reading an assignment take two hours, or five hours or more, and just imagine not being a full time student.. Its going to take discipline to admit when you don't know what the hell is going on and need to reach out to a professor and attorneys . It takes discipline to go beyond the class and download old exams and take them for practice. In addition, your mental health is a big consideration. A stressful and draining environment where fear can easily fix itself as a primary driver is not a place that nourishes healthy mental processes. For me, the most difficult part of law school is dealing with the mental/emotional stress day by day. Overall, Experiencing all the difficult stuff listed above will just make you a stronger person. You will learn, process, and move on. You will learn how our society works and learn how you can change the rules that govern us. You will have fun.

Being a Working student is a tough job
Who says its easy? For sure burn out is real. Schoolwork, paperwork and work-work are not easy things to do on their own. Being a working student is always challenging and draining. You have to do your best while on the job, then come home and take your classes, which include homework and lots of studying. You need to be motivated and positive to stay on track while also keeping a positive outlook. Time management to everything you do, financial stress, and balancing work and personal life can all take a toll at once. While you have to find time to study and remember cases, you also want to make sure you’re making enough money to afford rent and food. However, the most essential thing is that you stay organized and make sure you’re prioritizing your schoolwork first! Time management is essential and crucial to balance work and study to ensure neither suffers, and you don’t burn out.

A Reflection that tough road leads to Beautiful destination
A big reflection of mine is that the most difficult roads lead us to the most beautiful destinations in life . Difficult situations make our priorities clear. The bumpy roads not only toughen up our feet but also illuminate our true path and calling to whatever cause or profession we want to go. The most important thing i could reflect as a working student is that Life’s journey is an endurance test and we have to discover how far we are willing to go to reach for that pot of gold. And when we stand at the pinnacle, that is our victory.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations, and the destinations will be found on your life path.

Thank you so much for taking time to read my reflection in life.
