This Global phenomenon singer was onces my childhood friend, we attended the same church way back then, my mom was selling in a street named after her father in Port Harcourt, River state, Nigeria. Were we all grew up as children, so we all started in the children choir of our church then to the Adult or main Choir singing sofa note, meanwhile mercy had this something for music, so she started out singing as solo singer, gospel minister in church, then went on to singing in other occassions, including singing in the state music competition from there she attended many other music auditions and made it through to a Nation wide music competition Nigerian Idol....Mercy Chinwo gained recognition in her participation in the Nigerian music talent show she was a contestant in the second season of the show and eventually emerged as the winner, which boosted her career in the industry, which came with a car gift, a year recording contract with a prominent record label from there mercy exploded....
Moses Bliss is Another Gospel artist i have known personaly right from when he started out way back, Moses was just passionate about making music, moses can stay right up through the night disturbing the entire neighborhood with his songs, one time after one of those nights In the morning the landlord came on to warn him of the noises, and disturbing others, it didn't stop there in church moses was leading the choresters and from then went on to minster in other churches and branches of our church, started recieving invitations from different sources till one time pastor Chris Oyakilome on christmas day celebration after one of his ministration called him out and made some announcements from there moses became so popular and was mostly out of reach...

There are lots of other artist both in Nigeria and globally who came to light right from scratch, not only in music, you can say sports in the likes of Ronaldo and other athletes who became what they are today simply because they responded to the call by passion, deep down there was a giant quietly sleeping on their inside, crying to let out, this giant is in everyone of us...crying everyday, trying to find expression.
I had to bring this two scenarios to bare because they are two people i can boldly say i have literally watch them rise before my very eyes, their progression and uprising was evident and visible to everyone.
You see to be consistent is a burning desire, its a response to your passion, a deep sense of purpose calling to become, the fact is everyone of us is built to do so much, like we can literally become anything we choose to be, it's all falls back on us to work it out, to be consistent, to be steadfast, to continue in there doing it again and again till we become one with our passion, responding to that call to become will get you on your feet whether it is convenient or not, whether the resources are available or not, there's a push to do, to keep on practicing, to keep going all out for it....
