Police have arrested two people in Delhi for chanting the slogan "Pakistan Zindabad" ahead of Republic Day in India. The incident took place near Khan Market Metro Station in Delhi after midnight last Saturday.

Delhi Police said a call came to the control room of Tughlaq Rod police station around 1pm on Saturday and locals complained that some people were chanting "Pakistan Zindabad" near Khan Market Metro.

And the incident has caused a great deal of concern among security forces ahead of Republic Day. Moreover, where New Delhi has already been completely covered in security blankets for the Republic Day parade on the eve of Republic Day, locals are worried about how the slogan came up in the security.

After receiving the news from the locals, the police reached the spot and found the whereabouts of two men and three women. When police questioned two of the men about it, they both said they rented two bikes for the bike race.

They claim that one of the two bikes is named Hindustan for the race and the other is named Pakistan. Although police have not yet arrested any of them, the matter is being investigated, police said.
