Hive really did save a life!
This is a fantastic thing that I figured out the other day while I was on my phone and a message popped up from a friend that I have not spoken to in a quite a few months.
The original story can be found here, but basically I had a friend who contacted me last year who had cancer. His dad died of cancer and when he found out that he had cancer, he thought he was pretty much done for.
The cancer had already progressed quite a bit and he did not think that he was going to survive.
He had a Warhammer collection that he was selling but was not advertising the fact that he was ill. I figured him out though. He wanted his models to go to a good place and for his sickness to not put his mother into debt for his sake.
Well, that man is still alive today!
He completed his chemo treatment which made him feel incredibly ill of course and he became a bit of a recluse while he was going through recovery.
Skip forward a year and someone who had 3-6 months left to live is now still living and had beat cancer.
He could not have done it without the money I raised for the Warhammer models he sold and I could not have done it without the Hive community.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
There are quite a few people that I wish to thank personally but I do not want to miss anyone so I will try recount as many of the donators as possible.

Another fund raiser for a new purpose
I seem to be coming across people who sell their large lots of Warhammer for significant reasons in their life.
The man mentioned above, because of cancer and the man I am now starting a new fund-raiser for: Because of a wedding!
Weddings can be expensive and this man, who is a school teacher, needs to pay deposits and such. After he sells this batch of Warhammer he still has other armies.
More details about this new fund raiser to follow soon!
Thank you once again for all the help Hive and Ecency have given me in the past. I thought you guys would like to know that your contributions made a difference!
Cheers!
