I and my husband decided to take a drive to the land that we really want to purchase, which is around 20 acre land that is located right next to our little city ( Ciudad Real ). Because it is so close, we like to go see it ince in a while.
We are still in winter season, so when it rains a lot, the roads can be pretty bad here in El Salvador, especially the side roads or dirt roads which you find in the farm land.
It hasn't been raining for two days, but it rained a little the niggt before, so we decided to see the land. The roads were pretty dry.
Unfortunately we didn't get to walk the land because the guy who is taking care of it, was not there.
So we decided to take a different dirt road which will take us to Santa Ana, so that we can go to a store.
This road is actually pretty nice and that is why we took this road. As soon as I mentioned to my husband, how much better this road is, it started to look a little bit more wet with some puddles.
We didn't think nothing of it, because the whole road was so nice and dry, so we kept driving in it, till we actually got into a middle of big mess, where we couldn"t get out of.
First we drove over some wet dirt with some small puddles, but the next few puddles were actually really deep, and that is where my husband had to soeed up a bit, so that we don't get stuck and then faster and faster until we really got stuck.
We were in the middle of nowhere, because there is only farm land around us, but we knew that there was a small town near by, but didn't know how far it was.
My husband went looking for some help and sure enough, wd were almost at the end of the dirt road which ends right at the little town.
We got some help from few people from that town. One of them called the tow truck, but the tow truck guy, said that he can't come because he will get stuck.
The people of El Salvador are absolutely amazing, especially when it comes to help in situations like this.
El Salvadorian pepple will go above and beyond to give a helping hand to anyone who needs help and this was just one of many situations we experienced for the past 4-5 years of living here.
These people (strangers who we never met before) were willing to do what it takes, no matter how long it takes to take us out of there.
They brought their showels and tools and some and bags of rocks and broken bricks to helo us out. It got dark and everyone was muddy and dirty and getting tired, but they would not stop.
After many, many tries, we were still stuck. It started to look like we are not getting out of there, but after 5 hours, we finally got out.
This was the worst spot that we got stuck in, but we still had about 100 meter or more of pretty bad road ahead, where we damaged the bumper pretty bad.
Afterwards we learned that the day before there was some 4x4-ing thing going on on this road and that is why there were deep holes and soft mud , which we couldn't see, because it just looked like normal puddles.
Thank God, we got out, and no one got hurt, trying to get us out.
We have no idea how we got out, because nothing was working and it really looked impossible. It really felt like God lifted our truck out of the dirt, because we tried and tried and the truck was just too stuck and out of the sudden, it felt so easy.
This was a great experience because we got to meet some new friends, which we will keep in contact with, and if we get this land, we already know some awesome neighbours.
Sorry for missing the few weeks on Hive, but we had a lot going on, but hopefully everything will work out.
Thank you for stopping by, and for your support. It's greatly appreciated.

I am a great supporter of - @familyprotection which is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most
amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Here is the link Click here
