Treasure, Rest, Frames and Love!
When the Captain's away, she's collecting treasure for all the dreemers. haha
I've not been on Hive much lately, as I've been stuffing my chests full of treasure to share with you all! But for the next 3 days, I am catching up on Hive, filling you all in with details of upcoming goodies, and.... resting!
So I'm inviting you all to have an extra week of REST as well. That's right - one more week of rest so that we can begin our October challenge actually IN October!
Let's start with TREASURE TALK!!
Have you missed the progression of the Treasure Hunt?? We started with leftover treasure from last December. All but $15 was found! So we rolled that $15 into the Reboot in May! That bought our Hunt up to $137 in goodies.
June - we gave out lots - but rolled over and added to what wasn't found! that was $187!
July?? We gave out $235 in prizes and treasure and goodies!
August we topped the scales with $250+ given out in all kinds of tasty treats!!!
and here we are for September! Our coffers were delightfully depleted - but don't you worry... I'm adding in $275 worth of treasure this month!!! So i HOPE HOPE HOPE that you've earned your DIGS for this month on DreemPort!!!
Let me ask you a question, Dreemers - AND PLEASE ANSWER IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW!!

Have you been waiting for the FRAME from the August challenge? Sorry- it took me a while to come up with a cool idea on how to combine @wesphilbin's Thoughtful Daily Post community with @mariannewest's freewrite community!
and then it hit me...
writers build worlds with words - and when you're letting your mind peacefully drift away with calming thoughts... what a sweet world you can build!

Sometimes, the way the weeks flow - we end up having an extra week of rest in the month before the new month starts! And... as it would happen - that's NOW!
So - enjoy the rest... and start thinking of what you'd like to write for next month! Want to know what the topic will be???? Glad you asked!
October challenge!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE....
Maybe you know? My daughter is getting married... hehehe In less than a month - in October, she will be marrying the man of her dreeeeems! So... in celebration of this, I thought.. LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE!
Each DreemPort challenge will be submitted on Thursday in October. You can submit it to ANY community that is suitable. (Please be sure to CHECK community guidelines before using a community!) I always like to drop my posts into the @ecency community because it's always a welcoming home!
Week 1 - Due in DreemPort Thursday, Oct 5
Tell us about the greatest love you have experienced. This doesn't have to be YOUR love. This can be a couple that you admire! This can be love of a sibling or child! Share with us why this love impacted you so deeply!
Week 2 - Due in DreemPort Thursday, Oct 12
If money was no object - tell us of your DREEM wedding. (If you've already had your own - you can tell us what you'd like to do for your children someday - or... you can tell us about a FABULOUS wedding, you've experienced!) @strega.azure just shared a very interesting wedding story where everything was terrible- but it was the BEST wedding she had ever been to! hahaha I hope she writes about that!!!
However you want to share this - entertain us with your thoughts on wedding plans that will intrigue and delight us!!!
Week 3 - Due in DreemPort, Thursday October 19
Find a couple that has been married THE LONGEST... and interview them for Hive! Ask if you can share their pictures... Ask for advice.... Have them share funny stories, tips, best memories, things they wish they knew... etc.
Let's make them celebrities for a day, and help their stories captivate us!
