On my birthday, I strive to create my own joy, even if it doesn't quite live up to my expectations. At least I make the effort, and that's something to celebrate! This year, I kicked off the festivities early by donning a vibrant red dress, capturing the moment, I felt like a true birthday queen.
Initially, I planned to stay home and relax, but when my partner mentioned their group activity, I decided to tag along. My motivation wasn't to have a thrilling time, but to simply spend quality time with my partner. Here's how it went.
I headed to the plaza since my partner's group activity was held there. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long - lunchtime arrived, and their leader dismissed them early. With growling stomachs, we strolled over to Jollibee, one of the nearest fast-food chain area. As a sweet bonus, we even scored a free vanilla ice cream for sharing our thoughts in their survey review.
After lunch, we headed to Gaisano to settle my electric bill. I playfully challenged my girlfriend to take care of it, as she'd never done it before. I couldn't resist teasing her, and we shared a good laugh. I admired her determination and found her adorable. Once she'd paid the bill, we indulged in one of my favorite pastimes – window shopping. I love scanning the displays, rating them from one to ten, and imagining owning them someday. Although, realistically, I often change my mind or can't afford them.
After that, we headed back to plaza to sit at one of the benches there. I really don't mind it if we have to spend time together at a public park since I believe that it's not about the place, but the person that you're with and how you spend time together. To be honest, I never thought I'd be this comfortable having dates at public places because my views before were different from my views now. Now, I don't care where we are, or what we do, as long as it's with my conyo baby. We took some pictures there, laughs, and talk about the most random stuff.
The journey home marked the calm before the storm. After everything, we headed home and arrived safely, I couldn't believe that in just 24 hours, I'd be turning 18. It felt surreal - I still felt like a kid at heart, but life had already piled on responsibilities and challenges.
That's it for now my amazing Hivers! If you like reading my blog, feel free to check my profile to read some more.
