Hola! ¿Qué tal están? Hoy les voy a compartir un poco sobre cómo fue mi noche de halloween. La verdad es que hasta ayer al mediodía no pensaba realizar ningún maquillaje ni salir de casa, pero, luego estuve viendo maquillajes de calaveras en Pinterest y me llegó la inspiración. Le pregunté a mi esposo si le gustaría que lo maquillara y me dijo que sí, así que busqué todos mis implementos y me dispuse a realizar el trabajo. La idea era primero maquillarlo a él y después a mi, y eso hice. A continuación les contaré cómo me fue.
Hi, how are you doing? Today I'm going to share with you a little bit about how my halloween night went. The truth is that until yesterday at noon I wasn't planning on doing any makeup or leaving the house, but, then I was looking at skull makeovers on Pinterest and I got the inspiration. I asked my husband if he would like me to do his makeup and he said yes, so I got all my supplies and got ready to get the job done. The idea was to do his makeup first and then mine, and that's what I did. I'll tell you how it went.
Esta era la primera vez maquillando a mi esposo y la verdad es que me divertí y reí muchísimo, por todas las caras que hacía al sentir las brochas o las pinturas sobre su piel. Cabe resaltar que mi esposo fue un poco dramático (o extremadamente cuidadoso) sobre el tipo de producto que aplicaba cerca de los ojos o labios, así que fui muchísimo más cuidadosa de lo normal. Ambos maquillajes fueron más fáciles de hacer de lo que pensé. Básicamente necesité pintura corporal líquida color blanco y color negro, sombra negra y distintos tipos de brochas para aplicar y difuminar. Hice calaveras distintas tanto para él como para mi y aquí adjuntaré algunas fotos del proceso.
This was my first time doing my husband's makeup and the truth is that I had a lot of fun and laughed a lot, because of all the faces he made when he felt the brushes or paints on his skin. It should be noted that my husband was a bit dramatic (or extremely careful) about the type of product he applied near his eyes or lips, so I was a lot more careful than usual. Both makeovers were easier to do than I thought they would be. Basically I needed white and black liquid body paint, black shadow and different types of brushes to apply and blend. I made different skulls for both him and me and here I will attach some pictures of the process.
Luego de dos horas de maquillaje y de risas (me dio mucha gracia y miedo a la vez verlo maquillado así) nos tomamos algunas fotografías y salimos a la calle para comprar una pizza, caminar un rato y ver los disfraces y maquillajes de las personas.
After two hours of make-up and laughter (it was both funny and scary to see him with his make-up on) we took some pictures and went out to the street to buy a pizza, walk around for a while and see the costumes and make-up of the people.
Me pareció increíble el ambiente de Halloween que se respira en esta ciudad. Por primera vez vi a tantas personas en la calle y la mayoría estaban disfrazadas: superhéroes, personajes de caricaturas, animales, vampiros y calaveras, policías… fue muy divertido salir por la noche, lucir nuestras calaveras y comer una rica cena. I found the Halloween atmosphere in this city incredible. For the first time I saw so many people on the street and most of them were dressed up: superheroes, cartoon characters, animals, vampires and skulls, cops... it was so much fun to go out at night, show off our skulls and eat a delicious dinner.
