Death is inevitable.......
Each sunrise is a new hope for us. So never forget to thank the Almighty before sleeping, for the day that went with less hassles and after waking up, for the day to go smooth.
Life is too short and death is the reality, the inevitable... in short an eternal process. And yes, it is definitely beyond our control, be it for ourselves or for our loved ones. Surrounded with your close ones, is one of the fact to fear death. Being young, is another factor.
If I were to know that my death is imminent I would probably pray to Almighty for an early and painless death. Sometimes, it is the love of our closed ones, that make us plead to the Almighty for a little longer life. But, in a way, its a kind of torturing for both, me as well as my family members.
By praying to prolong for death, is like punishing ourself and our family members. The pain they take, to take care of us mentally, physically and financially, especially if it is a low income family, is an appreciable fact. But how long is the question?
I, definitely, would pray for a death while Iam a little healthy than being sick.
A letter to my cousin in Heaven
My dearest cousin,
Life was too good when you and I were together. Though we met only during Annual vacations, in the month of April, May.....those were the most memorable days of my life.
I never expected you will leave me all alone, too soon. Whenever I make a visit to your place, the memories just flash back. Making others happy and laugh with your wisely jokes, was one of the greatest quality of yours.
Hope you remember - the days when we used to stay awake all night pouring out stories of happenings in and around, unless we were reminded of time by your mother. Also, it was nice to pluck those raw mangoes and eat with salt, just the two of us. And together we went to friends place, then to market and did the clothing purchase nearby your place.
Though my stay lasted only for two to three days, in a year, at your place, I used to take back memories that lasted for a year.
When I last visited your home, I saw you through your teenage daughter, who resembles you very much by looks and by character. Iam keeping her in my prayers for a blessed and happy life.
The day we meet again, we will continue with our ever lasting conversations...... Bye for now.
