Tengo que decir que la manera en que supe de esta película fue de lo más random. Fue por un programa de TV (por Dios santo que no recuerdo el nombre) que trata acerca de películas y actores famosos de Hollywood.
El tráiler atrajo mi atención, sumado a los protagonistas. Porque sabes que la película te va a causar risas si está Seth Rogen en ella (un gran ejemplo de ello es la secuela de Buenos Vecinos, excelente película). Lo que terminó de convencerme fue la protagonista femenina. Nicole Kigman. No, no es Nicole Kigman. Pero yo juraba que era ella en ese entonces.
Perdón Charlize Theron, soy tu fan ahora. No volverá a pasar.
I have to say that the way I found out about this movie was the most random. It was from a TV show (for goodness sake I can't remember the name) that is all about famous Hollywood movies and actors.
The trailer got my attention, coupled with the main characters. Because you know the movie is going to make you laugh if Seth Rogen is in it (a great example of this is the sequel to Good Neighbors, an excellent movie). What ended up winning me over was the female lead. Nicole Kigman. No, it's not Nicole Kigman. But I swore it was her back then.
Sorry Charlize Theron, I'm your fan now. It won't happen again.

La película es muy entretenida y para nada aburrida. Hacen muchas referencias a la historia y a la cultura pop, todo desde el lado de la comedia. Los chistes están en cada esquina sin llegar a ser demasiado.
Aunque no todo es comedia y romance, ya que tocan temas como lo es el mundo de la política y la lucha por los ideales. Del mismo modo nos habla acerca de las decisiones que se toman en la vida. ¿Felicidad o deber? Renunciar a tus ideales para lograr un objetivo. Por supuesto, no podía faltar la bendita imagen pública.
Opinion
The movie is very entertaining and not at all boring. They make a lot of references to history and pop culture, all from the comedy side. The jokes are in every corner without becoming too much.
It's not all comedy and romance, though, as it touches on topics such as the world of politics and the struggle for ideals. It also talks about the choices you make in life: Happiness or duty? Giving up your ideals to achieve a goal. Of course, the blessed public image could not be missing.
La vida del político es difícil, no se puede negar.
Lo único de lo que debo quejarme, es el como desarrollaron a los personajes tan opuestos. Fred, desempleado y pareciendo un indigente la mayoría del tiempo; Charlotte, la mujer más importante de Estados Unidos. ¿De verdad?
Por lo demás, todo bien. Tiene su parte feliz, parte triste y por supuesto tiene su parte de acción.
Todo equilibrado.
The politician's life is difficult, there's no denying that.
The only thing I have to complain about is how they developed such opposite characters. Fred, unemployed and looking homeless most of the time; Charlotte, the most important woman in America. Really?
Otherwise, it's all good. It has its happy part, sad part and of course it has its share of action.
All balanced.

Es una película muy agradable para pasar un buen rato.
Para mí, tiene un sólido 8/10.
