Talking about movies, it is my number one stress relieve. If not that it wouldn't look good on my Curriculum Vitae, i would have added "watching movies" to my hobbies. I watch movies not just for fun but to learn. The first movie i would recommend on a weekend will surely be "Ginny and Georgia". The reason being that, the movie shows how strong a woman can be. It is about a 15 years old girl who got pregnant and had nobody to help her. She did all she could to take care of the baby girl, and herself. She got married many times in the name of looking for a safe space for her child. At the long run, she gave birth to a boy. I won't say the whole plot so you can also watch it. Though i am not malignant but my favorite part was when one of the husbands she got married to was seducing her daughter who is now 15 years old, the same age she was when she gave birth to her daughter, she did not even say anything or rebuke him, she just put something in his shake that gave him heart attack then she cried the most sarcastically, at his funeral. Though that's far reaching but that was like "don't you dare lay a finger on my baby girl" . The movie is more of how far a lady can go to protect what is dear to her.
The second movie i will recommend is "Inventing Anna". This is because it depicts how intelligent a woman can be even though it may sometimes be in a negative way. That feeling when a lady is so intelligent and men can't just keep up. The movie is about a 21 years old lady who wants the world to know how intelligent she is. She starts to mingle with wealthy people and convinced each of them that she wants to start a certain business and if they should invest in it, it will earn them billions of dollars. They were so convinced even without seeing how feasible that will be yet. Even men of great knowledge and experience fell for it and convinced other people on how legit she is. You know when you talk people to trust you even without evidence. I won't be saying much on this also because i want you guys to go watch it. The best part for me was when she was arrested for fraud and the lawyer that took up her case wanted her to plead ignorance because of her age which will be of advantage to her. She was so furious because the purpose of the all thing was for the world to know how intelligent a 21 year old "girl" can be. She even demanded for the presence of the press on the day of her court hearing.
The third movie for me will be"Sistas, by Tyler Perry". Not to be obsessed with "women lifestyle" or anything but this movie depicts what most women are going through in relationships, though the movie is hilarious. Just imagine a funny movie that is giving you the exact thing you want. Tyler Perry tried as much as possible to create the kind of relationship you be find yourself. It was after i watched this movie i realized that, you may actually be in hell and think you are in love. It will really help those in abusive or obsessive relationship to make better decisions.
