El Vph es uno de los virus más comunes, se dice que del 100% de personas activas sexualmente, un 80% a lo largo de su vida ha podido adquirir algún subtipo de este virus, sólo que algunos son de altos riesgo oncogenico y bajo riesgo, quiero mediante esta publicación poder crear conciencia más que todo en las mujeres que somos las mas suceptibles adquirir un vph de alto riesgo que puede afectar nuestro cuello uterino y producirnos cancer cervicouterino. En los hombres el vph no hace tantos estragos, es por ello que en nosotros radica la importancia de asistir anualmente a nuestra consulta ginecologica, para estudiar nuestras celulas del útero y así dectetar el vph.

Cuando dejamos por un largo tiempo de realizar citologias, podemos sufrir de vph y no darnos cuenta y no sólo eso, el mismo puede ser de alto riesgo oncogenico permitiendo una predisposición al cancer, este puede avanzar y transformarse en NIC que quiere decir neoplasia intraepitelial cervical puede ser en distintos grados como el I, II y III . Que es ocasionada cuando la lesión del cuello uterino avanzada de una manera negativa como consecuencia del virus del papiloma humano, NIC I es cuando se observan diversos cambios celulares a traves de una biopsia, el NIC II es cuando ya existen cambios moderados celulares lo cual es muy probable que se desarrolle y pueda transfornarse en cancer, por último esta el NIC III que este es cuando ya existen cambios anormales totalmente severos en la células que se convierten en un carcinoma a futuro.
