Happy, having glow skin, living a life worth living for, staying healthy and staying around a family that you love and love back is what every individual pray for.
All this Sarah does. She lost her mother to cancer when she was at the age of 3. But Sarah's dad always cares for her and her younger sister. Providing all they need for them. Her dad is rich and works in a company that pays her a huge salary at the end of the month.
Sarah is a cousin of a friend of mine and they both planned to gain admission into the same university. But things happens and she lost her dad in a car accident when it was time for her to gain admission. She was sad, devasted and cried when she get to know her dad died leaving her and her younger sister alone in the world.
Sarah have to ask her parent's families to help her out with some money but they all didn't help even though Sarah's father spend a lot of money on them when he was alive. Some humans are wicked that they are not meant to be called humanš. Like why won't you help those that need help when you are capable of it?
Sarah and her younger sister can do days without eating because they don't have money for food. Lucky they think they were when one of Sarah's dad's family came to them and offer to help them and they should come to stay with her but it was always a day of sorrow and workload as the lady is using them as slaves and they do every work in her house.
There are times she starves them with the excuse she doesn't have food in the house. Despite all this Sarah didn't blame it on her parent's death, she didn't let the suffering weigh her down, she always cried but believe everything is going to be fine someday. She went in search of a job and get one at a supermarket but she didn't stay long there because the manager of the supermarket wants to have sex with her and she didn't give in to his request so he sack her. She proceeds to look for another job and luckily for her she gets a job as a house help in a Christian home. Every Sunday she does follow them to church and participates in church weekly activities and as fate will have it the pastor gets to see she is a good girl and talk to the church about it and they decide to help her and her siblings. That's how the members of the church contribute money for her and she was able to get back to school. she and her sister are now living on the church premises as there is a church that is built for pastors there.
Sarah is a resilient woman because she faces her difficulties instead of falling into despair and didnāt let her father's death weigh her down. She was able to search for a job, look after her sister, and overcome all the challenges she faced.
I get to know this story because Sarah's cousin which is my friend told me about it when I was complaining about my situation to her and she motivate me with it. one of the lessons I learnt is no matter the situation we are in we shouldn't give up or blame our situation, but instead, we should keep thriving hard for greatness and success.
