My rolled-paper bowls with different backgrounds

I was asked to photograph my paper utensils so that they could be included in a brochure as examples of what beautiful objects can be made by recycling. I undertook to teach, too, because people would rather learn than buy for expensive money. Because of the amount of work invested, I can’t give them cheap. Otherwise, I would be a slave to myself.

My photos taken in my room, to put it mildly, do not meet the quality required of me.
Especially if the sky is overcast and it’s too dark inside. If the sun is shining through the window, it’s not better either, because the difference between lights and shadows is too sharp. That’s why I’m really happy with the bright lights and colors of early summer.

The stones and plants of the recently made art garden provided the background. For the sake of simplicity, I now took photos with a mobile phone, because good lighting conditions allow for that as well.
