For BrittandJosie's Christmas Ornaments Contest: The Invitational Balls (Hive Balls 8 and 9, but out here early so people have TIME to join the fun)!)!

This art is in response to @brittandjosie's Christmas Ornaments Contest, which you can find HERE -- it runs through Dec. 24!

This first ball is jointly given to @juliakponsford and @alienarthive of the Alien Art Hive Community and NFT Showroom, along with @kalemandra and the Color Challenge Community! The Alien Eye Ball HAS IT ALL!

@juliakponsford is the Alien Overlord of the Alien Art Hive community, in which I found a first home as a fractal artist -- I actually encountered @kalemandra's fractal art there, and that led me to Color Challenge. So, I thought I'd put out one ball to gift them all ... the otherworldly eye with all the colors, and a big INVITATIONAL SHOUTOUT for both Alien Art Hive and Color Challenge to get involved with @brittandjosie's Hive Ball Initiative!

@juliakponsford is also the reason I am on NFTShowroom now as an artist, and, you'll find that the Alien Eye Ball's NFT analog is "The Pinkeye Marble,", available in one edition on NFT Showroom! It was more than a notion than to get that big, emanating thing -- steam tears and such -- into a ball, but it is available in its full form for you to view and purchase on NFT Showroom!

But, we're not done here -- my friend @wrestlingdesires is also a fractal artist, and this gift here, fittingly, is the Swirling Emotions Ball!

All that's best of dark and bright ... a soul working its way through a time of darkness, wrestling with its own desires, good and bad... hence this ball goes to you, @wrestlingdesires, a personal invitation ball to get on on the Hive Ball Action!

Both of these invitational balls were made using @brittandjosie's form ball, which you'll find on the contest main page --

Both figures were originally made in Apophysis 2.09 -- the Pinkeye Marble is a little older and was square in total (the problems with square pegs in round holes) -- and, the swirling emotions fractal just wasn't perfectly round, so that had to be wrestled into place on a dark background so that the golds, oranges, and reds would pop on out as they swirled!

It's November 28 -- you have until December 24 to get involved, and I'm inviting ALL OF YOU to spread the Hive Ball joy!
