Motherly Instinct.

I wonder how children will feel in this generation when they are not accord the privilege of experiencing the motherly warmth of a mother's bosom. Raising children these days seems burdensome to many mothers. They just need babies but they are not ready to undergo the pains (which is a blend of love and responsibility) in nursing the babies and parenting their children. I read a recent post from @tarazkp about the Australian government trying to ban social media for children. Now, that wouldn't have been needful had we parents been doing our jobs over our children.

In the olden days, our parents used to carry their babies in their hands and put them right in their bosoms. Mothers used to sleep with their children and make them feel the warmth of their embrace. In those days, when a woman gives birth, she will stay off much active and strenuous engagements and take care of her baby for some months. The difference is the case these days.

I saw a sight yesterday that got everyone present at the scene talking. I went to the bank and for the meantime, the network wasn't responding. We had to sit at the gallery till the network was restored.

While we were all seated there, a woman came in carrying her few weeks old baby in a baby carrier that looked like a basket. Now, I know that that is what is invoked in this present age nursing technique. Many of us used these kinds of stuffs to ease our job but the way she was carrying the baby as if she was carrying some items she got from a shopping mall made people talk. It was really offensive and unhealthy. I didn't know I would make up this post. I would have taken a picture of the sight.

My appeal is that we who are the new age mothers should nurse and raise our children with the feeling of love and passion. We should remember how we carry them in our womb for nine months and treat them with care. Though we have been given many facilities by technology which helps in reducing our stress, we should not ride upon that and treat our babies like toys. Even animals take care of their offspring with a high sense of tenderness. Let us nurse and care for our children with love.
