Concurso #82/ Las Mujeres en el Mundo

Una de las cuestiones que a lo largo de la historia, desde que el mundo es mundo, que ha llamado mi atención, ha sido la posición en que se le ha dado a la mujer a lo largo de las diferentes épocas en que hemos vivido y es de notar, que a la mujer se le dio desde un principio el papel de esposa, madre y ama de casa, donde siempre la palabra del hombre iba por delante, independientemente de su mujer o esposa.

En muchos países existen costumbres muy arraigadas donde la mujer vale menos que una vaca, ejemplo en África. En la India, la mujer es considerada de poco valor para las familias ya que la voz cantante la llevan los hombres y así otros tantos lugares del mundo, donde aún en estos tiempos persisten estas costumbres ancestrales; unos por cultura y otros por religión y es allí donde yo discierno de esos pensamientos.

Culturalmente, existen costumbres terribles en cuanto al trato, educación y desenvolvimiento de la mujer en estas sociedades. Donde aún a las mujeres no se les permite casarse, con la pareja de su elección, donde son casadas a temprana edad y donde una vez que salen del yugo familiar, pasan al yugo familiar de su marido; en muchos casos no se les permite estudiar, ni relacionarse con personas que no sean de su familia, ni expresarse libremente.

A mi entender esto es terrible, que esto se mantenga en muchos países todavía , pero muchos lo basan en su cultura. Aunque también existen personas, que están luchando para que estas costumbres sean abolidas o por lo menos sean más abiertas para las mujeres de esos países. Ha sido una lucha titánica, desde tiempos inmemoriales, tratando de evitar tanto maltrato a la mujer y para su evolución personal en la sociedad a nivel mundial. En muchos casos se han producido muchos terribles crímenes hacia la mujer a causa de esta lucha.

No ha sido fácil. En cuanto al tema de la religión aplicada a la mujer, en varios lugares del país a mi entender ha sido extremo, no se les permiten muchas cosas, siempre a la sombra del hombre, en nombre de sus religiones. Pienso que esto lo ha distorsionado el hombre por el hombre, a su conveniencia, no Dios en su palabra; pero muchos les han dado su interpretación de formas diferentes, lo malo, es que casi siempre ha sido en detrimento de la mujer. Para mi lo que Dios indicó, lo indico para ambos sexos, el respeto, el amor, hablo de pareja, de unión, no de esclava o esclavo por decirlo de alguna forma.

No hizo diferencias, mandó la modestia de parte y parte, tratar y amar a los demás como te amas a ti mismo, no dijo “La mujer tendrá que ser tu esclava Adam” habló de compañera, de pareja, de esposa. Considero que esas interpretaciones de cada cual, ha sido la base para que la mujer en los tiempos siempre se mantenga relegada en posición en cuanto al hombre. Afortunadamente siempre han existido mujeres que han hecho la diferencia en todos los ámbitos de la sociedad.

Y tarde que temprano han tenido que ser reconocidas por sus labores e incluso grandes hazañas, así el mundo lo ha tenido que ver, han habido heroínas, científicas, escritoras, doctoras destacadas, de todo, que han dejado su legado tras de ellas y que han contribuido con todos, para ser lo que somos hoy día, lo que muchos de nosotros disfrutamos en nuestra cotidianidad y en nuestros países, incluso estos países en que no han dejado que sus mujeres avancen en sus estudios, en sus ocupaciones.

En conclusión, aún falta mucho para que todos seamos iguales, así como lo somos a los ojos de Dios. Mientras existan estas imposiciones, “costumbres”, esto continuará siendo una lucha fuerte; lo bueno es, que cada vez se va abarcando más logros en este concepto y ya en muchos de estos paises se ha logrado varios pasos adelante, en pro de la mujer. Para mi todos somos iguales, por lo tanto debemos tener iguales derechos, para ser, desarrollarnos, trabajar, estudiar, es lo justo.

One of the issues that has caught my attention throughout history, since the world began, has been the position that women have been given throughout the different eras in which we have lived and it is noteworthy that women were given from the beginning the role of wife, mother and housewife, where the man's word was always ahead, regardless of his wife or wife.

In many countries there are deeply rooted customs where a woman is worth less than a cow, for example in Africa. In India, the woman is considered of little value for the families since the singing voice is carried by the men and so many other places in the world, where even in these times these ancestral customs persist; some by culture and others by religion and it is there where I discern these thoughts.

Culturally, there are terrible customs regarding the treatment, education and development of women in these societies. Where even women are not allowed to marry, with the partner of their choice, where they are married at an early age and where once they leave the family yoke, they pass to the family yoke of their husband; in many cases they are not allowed to study, nor to relate with people who are not of their family, nor to express themselves freely.

In my opinion this is terrible, that this is still maintained in many countries, but many base it on their culture. Although there are also people who are fighting for these customs to be abolished or at least be more open to women in those countries. It has been a titanic struggle, since time immemorial, trying to avoid so much mistreatment to women and for their personal evolution in society worldwide. In many cases there have been many terrible crimes against women because of this struggle.

It has not been easy. As for the issue of religion applied to women, in several places in the country in my opinion it has been extreme, they are not allowed to do many things, always in the shadow of men, in the name of their religions. I think that this has been distorted by man for man, at his convenience, not God in his word; but many have given their interpretation in different ways, the bad thing is that it has almost always been to the detriment of women. For me what God indicated, He indicated it for both sexes, respect, love, I speak of couple, of union, not of slave or slave to say it somehow.

He did not differentiate, he commanded modesty on both sides, to treat and love others as you love yourself, he did not say "The woman will have to be your slave Adam" he spoke of a partner, a couple, a wife. I believe that these interpretations of each one, has been the basis for the woman in the times always remain relegated in position in relation to the man. Fortunately there have always been women who have made a difference in all areas of society.

And sooner or later they have had to be recognized for their work and even great deeds, so the world has had to see, there have been heroines, scientists, writers, outstanding doctors, everything, who have left their legacy behind them and have contributed with everyone, to be what we are today, what many of us enjoy in our daily lives and in our countries, even those countries that have not let their women advance in their studies, in their occupations.

In conclusion, there is still a long way to go before we are all equal, just as we are in the eyes of God. As long as these impositions, "customs" exist, this will continue to be a strong struggle; the good thing is, that each time more achievements are being made in this concept and in many of these countries several steps forward have already been achieved, in favor of women. For me we are all equal, therefore we should have equal rights, to be, to develop, to work, to study, it is only fair.
