I couldn’t be prouder !
My son is in an English school and all has to be done in English. Part of the school year is a few presentations on a stage and also have to make art projects.
This was the first invite we got as parents.
The school is raising worldly students with a wide interest in what is happening g in our society. With that promise the first evening presentation was about Egypt. They went to the museum. They had history , math, geography and art come together to make an evening full of all they made and presented to us. We went with all the kids and hubby and me.
The kids had to make a PowerPoint.
They also had to make a English comic strip and they had to talk in English infront of us , two classes full of families, for 5 minutes each.
All was recorded and the mentor was Ofcourse with them on stage.
Mine did great , but I am bias Ofcourse!
The comic in the middle is the one we made.
I say we because I helped a bit gathering images and ideas but he did all the work.
Its a lot the students have to do. It’s a strain to get them to ask a lot from theirselves and get the best from themselves.
There were so many great comics
BUT
My son his comic got first prize.
Voted best by the other students ,
And voted best among the votes casted by the parents.
I AM SOOOOOOO PROUD!
