Hello hivers, welcome to my blog again. For today's edition, I will be joining my ladies in the LOH contest to express my thoughts as to how women are being treated in the past and in present now.
You know, it's so appalling as to how society has limited women to some certain level and has been generally concluded that they are weaker vessels. Yea it's true though,that not all things a woman can do, but to me, women are not as weaker as to how society has limited them to. During the old times, there's this saying that says "A woman's place is in the kitchen".That's a big fat lie!!. Nobody says a woman should not perform her wifely duties or so, but also they should be allowed to also express oneself in the society, influence change not only on the society but also for themselves.
In some practices of the old times, there are certain things women are limited to examples are; not allowed in some worship places, not allowed to participate in political activities, doesn't have the right to work in an organization and even though they do, they are still limited in a way, that is, no promotion to becoming a high ranked personnel as they feel that a woman is weak and soft hearted in making decisions and a man is meant to be a superior at all times.
Times have changed where all these careless excuses has made women hide in their shells and not being able to express ones self worth . A woman is unique. These days, we have women who posses high intellectual capacity and are making the society proud in different ways and even the men are now proud to say "yes!!, That's my daughter, that's my wife".So you see🤷, women are not as weak as the society claims they are, I mean, have you ever thought 💭🤔 of how a woman manages to take care the family, makes sure that every one is okay and satisfied, like if they are able to do all these despite all the stress they have to go through, then who says they won't be able to fit in various diversities , politically, economically, etc.
