Cleaning helps me also in relieving the stress. And I agree that at times stress doesn't let us focus on reading. Well it also depends on what we read.

I wanna know what attacks are you exactly talking about? Panic attacks?
It would be great if we could learn to let go of everything that does not serve us and clean our minds so that they do not affect us so much
It's an art that takes time but if we master it and start avoiding the unimportant we save our potential for growth.
