It's a Bollywood movie released in 2014. The movie is about a girl who is initially seen accompanied by her little brother(sent by her parents) even on her dates.
→This funny phenomenon can be seen in various parts across the world. A male, even as young as 5 years old is made to accompany a woman for her safety.
At the last moment, when her fiancé cancels the wedding, she goes on her honeymoon alone.
→ Now this naive girl is out on her own. It's a roller coaster of adventures with a blend of cultural shocks.
I love this one because its about having a great time on your own and meeting amazing people along the way. This one will surely cheer you up.
2) 8 A.M. Metro
This one is about an unexpected friendship between a man and a woman. Their love for poetry and literature is an important part of the relationship.
Some short-lived relationships can last a lifetime.
Some great relationships with a short expiry date leave a deep impact.
I found the story really interesting.Though I have mixed feelings about the ending, but this can't change the fact that it's still a great movie.
3) Hidden Figures
I watched this one recently.The protagonists are these 3 women who worked at NASA. Despite being highly intelligent, they had to struggle even for the basics against the racial and patriarchal norms.
Based on the backdrop of the Cold War between the USA and Russia, this movie is perfect for a weekend.
I like this one as it gives the message about the importance of ditching the shit practices of the past and evolving towards a better society. Also, it doesn't lack in entertainment.
