City Playgrounds Bike Tour in Palma de Mallorca - "Trliste Contest"

**@fiatgirl, here's some more fun stuff I came accross to recently: #trliste #contest #ctp *

A few years ago, when my children were smaller, we looked for playgrounds in our neighbourhood. When my daughter grew up a bit, we had enough from the small playground at the end of our street (which my son was still enjoying though).

It was perfect when they were very small, but we wanted something more and when we walked a bit further we found this great playground (Son Costa), good for small children, and also for other age categories with basketball, soccer, table tennis and even petanque facilities!

During the Corona-time, we needed to keep moving and I decided to start to develop a small city bike tour which the children could do and where we could stop a couple of times to drink and to play in different playgrounds. Like this it doesn’t get boring to stay in one place and not tiring to keep on biking.

Last Friday we did it again after quite a while and I made these pictures to share with you.

The first stop after 2 kilometers biking brings us to Parc Camp Redó. There was a beautiful high fountain at the entrance, which unfortunately is dry at the moment. For the rest a nice wooden castle, sand to play in, lots of shadow and 2 table tennis tables.

We continue about 1 kilometer to get to Parc de Sa Riera, where after renovations during Corona period this amazing playground has been set up. Here is one of the few places where is grass in good conditions and without too much dog shit, so we tend to stay for a while here as well. There’s a bar as well, but I prefer the grass here.

Next playground, another kilometer further is Plaza de Ramon Rotger Moner who seems to have been a medic… After the 2 previous playgrounds this one is not that spectacular any more, so I didn’t get the possibility yet to explore the bar 😅

The last one in the row is Plaza Alexander Fleming which I’ve been adding just because we pass it. It’s for smaller and bigger children than mine, and it has a certain “barrio” character. This means children from a particular neighbourhood seem to meet here.

We’ve got about 1-1,5km to go to get home passing close to the first two playgrounds, but what there is better than to reward the efforts with an ice cream, before to go home?!
