El camino de la espiritualidad
Son muchas las cosas que necesitamos para desarrollarnos como seres físicos y espirituales, en este proceso es necesario tener otras personas que nos cuiden y nos guíen, por ejemplo, cuando somos bebes no pudiéramos crecer ni sobrevivir sin la ayuda de otra persona que nos dé un lugar donde vivir y comer como (los padres, tíos, abuelos, alguien que asuma este rol), mientras crecemos estas necesidades físicas se hacen mayores y no solo necesitaremos de techo y comida también de amor y cariño de las personas que nos rodean; familiares, amigos. Los maestros forman parte de este crecimiento y estarán presente en las diversas áreas académicas y espirituales.
Hay niños que nacen en un seno familiar donde no se presentan manifestaciones religiosas, no son creyentes y se definen como ateos, se pudiera pensar que esos niños no necesitan un guru o maestro que los oriente espiritualmente, supongo que así como necesitan desarrollar sus cualidades cognitivas acudiendo a una escuela luego una preparatoria y al final una universidad lo mismo sucede con la espiritualidad para desarrollarla se requiere hacer la práctica reflexiva sobre los acontecimientos de la vida y como actuamos conforme a ello y sin alguien que nos guíe es una tarea difícil de cumplir.

Are there people who need spiritual guidance more than others?
No, there are people who naturally seek the answers and the guide will appear when they are ready, while the others, the non-believers, may not seek anyone; however, I believe that in both cases if you want to move forward in the answers that arise within us you need a spiritual guide or teacher.
Is it necessary to be in a religion to have a guru or spiritual master?
My answer is no, you can belong to a religion or not and that does not limit you to having a spiritual master because spirituality is not linked to religion. A spiritual master can be your grandfather, your best neighbor, any person who possesses a quality that represents your admiration and respect, a wise person who leads by example and has a life according to his thoughts, words, and actions.
Leyendo la participación de otros hivers recuerdo la publicación de @irvinc que dio el ejemplo de dos niños, uno es sensible, se siente atraído por la naturaleza, los animales y el otro se expresa de forma violenta, áspera y poco amigable con el entorno, por lo que el primero de ellos es posible que se sienta atraído por la parte espiritual y quiera desarrollarlo buscando un maestro mientras que el otro no, en ambos casos está presente la espiritualidad, pero la causa de su desarrollo es distinta. Entonces reflexionando sobre lo que dice @irvinc me surge otra interrogante.
¿Hay personas que necesitan más la guía espiritual que otras?
No, hay personas que de manera natural buscaran las respuestas y el guía aparecerá cuando estén preparados, mientras que las otras, las no creyente, puede que no busquen a nadie; sin embargo, considero que en ambos casos si se quiere avanzar en las respuestas que surgen en nuestro interior se necesita un guro o maestro espiritual.
¿Se necesita estar en una religión para tener un guro o maestro espiritual?
Mi respuesta es no, puedes pertenecer a una religión o no y eso no te limita a tener un maestro espiritual porque la espiritualidad no está ligada a la religión. Un maestro espiritual puede ser tu abuelo, tu mejor vecino, cualquier persona que posea una cualidad que represente para ti admiración y respeto, una persona sabia que predique con el ejemplo y tenga una vida acorde con sus pensamientos, palabras y acciones.
Who can be a spiritual guide?
As stated in her publication @slwzl many spiritual masters and guides are living and deceased, she gives an example: John Paul II, Mahatma Gandhi, I can mention Tenzin Gyatso is the fourteenth Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, anyone who inspires you to be better can be your mentor and can guide you through their thoughts, books, and philosophy of life.
I went through many religions and have been baptized in two, while I was in search of my spiritual growth, I now understand that you don't need to be in a specific religion to have a spiritual guide.
There are sacred books such as the Bible, the Koran, Popol Vuh, Torah, among others that are the basis of spiritual guidance, we can be guided only by reading these books asking for understanding and wisdom from the Holy Spirit. These books have many parables and phrases that sometimes are not easy to understand and therefore it is good to have the guidance of someone who has already understood and studied more of these books.
Qualities that a spiritual guide must have
A person to be considered a spiritual guide must have special qualities, reading the publication that @dwixer gives us I learned about two words that explain very well what I mean, the Logos which means the ability that God has given him to do something like the will and rhema which is the quality that the holy spirit has given that person to play a role, in other words, it would be something like the ability to guide and the attitude to do it in the best way with the wisdom that has been given to him.
¿Quién puede ser un guía espiritual?
Así como lo expone en su publicación @slwzl existen muchos maestros y guía espirituales vivos y fallecidos, ella pone como ejemplo: Juan Pablo II, Mahatma Gandhi, yo puedo mencionar Tenzin Gyatso es el decimocuarto dalái lama, la Madre Teresa de Calcuta, cualquier persona que te inspire a ser mejor puede ser tu mentor y te puede guiar a través de sus pensamientos, libros y filosofía de vida.
Yo pasé por muchas religiones y he sido bautizada en dos, mientras estaba en la búsqueda de mi crecimiento espiritual, ahora comprendo que no se necesita estar en una religión específica para tener un guía espiritual.
Existen libros sagrados como la Biblia, el Corán, Popol Vuh, Toráh, entre otros que son la base de la guía espiritual, podemos guiarnos solamente con la lectura de estos pidiendo comprensión y sabiduria al espíritu santo. Estos libros poseen muchas parábolas y frases que a veces no son fáciles de entender y por eso es bueno contar la guía de alguien que ya haya comprendido y estudiado más de estos libros.
Cualidades que debe tener un guía espiritual
Una persona para ser considera un guía espiritual debe tener cualidades especiales, leyendo la publicación que nos regala @dwixer aprendí sobre dos palabras que explican muy bien los que quiero decir, el Logos que significa la capacidad que Dios le ha dado para hacer algo como la voluntad y rhema que es la cualidad que el espíritu santo le ha dado a esa persona para desempeñar un papel, en otras palabras sería algo como la aptitud para poder guiar y la actitud para hacerlo de la mejor forma con la sabiduría que se le ha dado.
