They must be checked regularly for mould over the next few weeks, immediately removing any bad bits. Too much moisture is the culprit for this and in some situations they may need to go back into the dehydrator for a few hours. Trial and error is the best way to learn. They can be rehydrated for use in certain recipes during the winter or simply eaten as is. Either way, they still taste great!
