KIMBAP BROWN RICE - HEALTHY FOOD FOR A GOOD HEALTH

Hi guys! How are you? I hope everything is going well for you.
What's your lunch today? Today I made a simple and healthy dish for lunch at my office. I didn't pay much attention to my food before. But since joining Hive, learning many recipes from foodiebeehive, ecotrain, and qurator community, I have worked harder in planning my daily meals.
My lunch at the office today is Kimbap brown rice. It is a healthy dish, rich in nutritional value but easy to make. And I want to share this recipe with everyone.

INGREDIENTS FOR TWO PEOPLE

  • 1 cup of brown rice
  • 4 dried seaweed leaves
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • Mustard Greens
  • Lettuce
  • 3 eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • chili sauce
  • 1 pack of sausages
  • String beans
  • Seasoning: fish sauce, pepper, cooking oil.

💗Nutritional value

Brown rice is a type of rice with only the husk removed, not milled, and without the bran known for its effective preventive and curative uses. This rice is very rich in nutrients, especially vitamins and trace elements. In the composition of brown rice, there are substances: vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, fat, protein, fiber, and trace elements (calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, sodium) src ... It's very good for health strong.

Dried seaweed leaves contains high levels of nutrients and antioxidants, offers many health benefits.
The combination of brown rice and seaweed is considered to be the perfect combination to create a nutritious and healthy meal. By adding boiled vegetables, the dish gets more nutrients, and it becomes more tasty, frugal, and easy to digest.

STEP 1: COOK BROWN RICE

The most important part of this dish is cooking brown rice. Before cooking, you need to wash brown rice with clean water twice, then soak in warm water for about 15 minutes. Soaking rice in warm water will help the rice expand, and when cooked, it will cook quickly and become flexible.

Put the rice and water in the pot and step on the cook button. The rice will be cooked after 30 minutes. If you see that the rice has not bloomed, you can add a little more water and stir well and cook for another 10 minutes.

STEP 2: PRELIMINARY INGREDIENTS

  • For Carrots, cucumbers, vegetables, string peas, wash all these ingredients with clean water and let them dry. Then cut the carrot and cucumber into long pieces.
    Get a pot of water on the stove, heat it. Then add the vegetables, carrots, and string beans to boiling. Because the vegetables will soften faster, you should add the carrots and string beans first.

When the carrots are almost soft, add the vegetables to boiling water later.

Boiled vegetables retain their natural essence, they don't lose all their nutritional value like fried foods. And the digestion of food will be easier when vegetables are boiled to a moderate degree of softness.

  • Sausages, cut in half, and lightly fry in oil until golden brown on both sides. If you buy pre-processed sausages, you don't need to re-fry them with oil.

  • With chicken eggs, we boiled once, the other two put in a bowl, add a little fish sauce, pepper, then beat well.

Get a pan of oil on the stove. When the oil is hot, you put the eggs on the forehead evenly around the pan.

Then take out the plate and cut it into yarn as shown.

STEP 3: ROLL UP THE RICE WITH DRIED SEAWEED LEAVES.

After all of the ingredients have been prepared, we begin roll up the rice with seaweed.

I didn't have a tool to roll up the rice, so I used a bag of seaweed to make a pad. You put on the bag one seaweed leaf, put the rice on the surface of the seaweed leaf, and spread it evenly, covering 2/3 of the seaweed leaf.

Continue to arrange carrots, cucumbers, vegetables, sausages, and eggs in a group, then roll up it.

You have to use your hands to squeeze it tightly to make the rice roll firm and easily cut into slices without being crushed.

After enjoying my lunch with Kimbap brown rice, I had an energetic and active afternoon. The body feels very light and full of energy.
