ecoTrain QOTW 9.9: "DO WE NEED A GURU OR TEACHER IN ORDER TO GROW SPIRITUALLY?"

Greetings friends of @ecoTrain, exploring some communities of the Hive platform, I came across this initiative that I find interesting to participate in it and give my opinion on the need to grow spiritually having a "Guru".

Why is a "Guru" important for our spiritual growth? To answer this question, it would be ideal to review why it is important to grow as human beings with the tenderness and love of a father and a mother. When we are newborn, we immediately feel the warmth of our mother, which over time translates into love and security. The first teacher we have in life is our own mother, who from a very early age teaches us principles and values to adapt to society. The mother guides us in our first years of life, which gives us a lot of confidence and security. Eventually our parents decide to place us in a school where teachers are in charge of broadening and deepening the values we received from our parents. The success we can have at an early age will always depend on the guidance of our parents and our early teachers.

Our parents at first function as teachers and later in school we continue to meet other teachers. However, on the spiritual plane, we cannot have abundant peace, love, happiness, if we do not meet spiritual teachers with wisdom and experience who guide us to know God more deeply.
The "Guru" is a person very prepared in the spiritual area that provide us with the necessary advice to face the challenges and the great challenges of life. Christianity had a great Guru known as Jesus Christ, who guided a multitude to know the Christian principles based on the love of God and wise advice to achieve salvation. In this sense, I believe that in the spiritual life we need a great teacher like Jesus Christ to guide us on the right path to reach the love of God and live in an environment of peace within a convulsed humanity,

The world needs a "Guru" to teach us spiritually about love, forgiveness and living in peace with one another. The greatest spiritual prosperity we can experience is related to peace and love for others.
